These are amazing, the sound quality is great and the fit is more comfortable than another brand i had before these. The wire from the controller to amp is a bit short so it sits on my lap, but I'm used to it now. The great thing about the rechargeable amp is that if it goes dead, you just disconnect it and connect it to the charge cable, then plug the headset directly into your controller. The sound quality is still great without the amp, and the battery life is claimed to be 30 hours. I haven't timed it because even without the amp connected, the sound is very good. These are a huge value for the money considering you can pay $300+ for some of the competition. Just remember to switch the amp off when you finish.

This headset is by far the best bang for your buck buy! Turtle beach is a top seller and these prove why! Got them for my Xbox one for call of duty and with the super human hearing, you can hear EVERYTHING! they work on the newer style Xbox one controller that has the 3.5mm audio jack. If you have the old style controller, you have to buy the adapter for them to work. Great product in my book!

Been using Turtle Beach headsets when I started playing on line. Clarity of sound is what I look for in a headset and the comfort is a plus

These were a gift for xmas.I do alot of gaming and sometimes like to have the TV up loud late at night. Easy setup and use on PS4 and PC. Good sound quality even better with the super human sound button pressed. Blocks out all outside noise (I couldnt even hear wife and kids yelling that they were ready to goto dinner and they were almost standing behind me.. lol) comfortable fit. I wear glasses and the headset doesnt bother me during long usage. Long battery life out the box. Used for 3 days before I had to charge. Like the fact that I can charge while using.The only con I can think of is if your not using the mic and dont hit the mute button you will hear outside noises. Other than that they are a all around good pair of wired headsets for gaming and watching movies on PC

First, to note, I use these on a PS4. These headphones work wonderfully. I also happen to own a pair of Sony Gold headphones, and I must say these sound a whole lot better. I mostly only use them for playing online games like ESO and Blacks Ops III, and I can hear so much better with these on, especially when other people are talking. Plus they make it really easy to tell where the enemy is coming from in Black Ops III. They seem well built, and are comfortable to wear. The only problem I have is the cords. The headphones plug into a "super amp" which plugs into the PS4 to charge, and also has to be plugged into the controller for sound/mic. If plan to play while charging, you need to get a long USB charge cable, which I believe is the same as the one you use for the controller. The way I play, I usually have the 'super amp' on my lap while playing, and sometimes it can be a bit annoying with all the cords all over. I would have rather just plugged the headset directly into the PS4 via USB and get power, sound, and mic that way. Still great, I would definitely recommend that you give these a try.

I wanted a headset that was comfortable and not hurt my ears. This did just that. The battery life is really good too. I accidentally left it on over night once and it still ran for a long time after I found out. So good battery life and comfortable. I also like that the controls are easy to use since they are connected to the wire. I don't have to mess around with trying to find the right switch like on some headsets that have the buttons on the actual earphones therefore being blind as too what button I'm actually pushing. I would give it a 5 but I can't tell that much of a difference between the bass sound in the headphones even if they are at polar opposite settings.

I just wanted you guys to check out this review for this AMAZING product. I was in desperate need of a new headset after I tried cutting the wires on my previous turtle beaches because I couldn't sit comfortably on my couch and play that far from my tv. This product my internet family is GREAT! It was simple as taking out the headset plugging it in to my ps4 controller and playing! There is a little control panel that comes with it *remember to turn on and OFF* it is phenomenal you can adjust volume, the type of heading adjustments you need according to the way you like to play, super hearing *makes the game volume louder and more in depth than usual playing* and the mute option. The headset it self is very comfortable but after playing for a long time it starts to slightly hurt/irritate my head I don't know I guess I might have a big head but besides that this product is great and a must buy if you are in need of a good headset at a good price.

These headsets sound decent. They're comfortable enough but they have a couple of issues. The build quality isn't the greatest. The amplifiers cable are pretty flimsy and can get damaged quickly, rendering the whole thing useless. Another big issue is, the amplifier has no clip. So it just hangs there,making movement a pain. The volume control is great but there's no way to separate chat audio from a party and game audio.

I've had the Sony Playstation Gold Headset for a few years now and started experiencing dropped audio even though I'm only ten feet away from the console. Turtle Beach is known for high quality headsets, but I wasn't looking to spend a ton of money. I saw several good reviews for this headset and for the price, I figured I'd take a shot. It plugs into the controller so you might get tangled up, though the cord isn't too long. I like the fact you can adjust multiple settings for the headset on the control panel. The mic volume is nice. You can turn it up just enough to hear your voice so you know just how loud you're talking and your family doesn't have to hear you yelling. Sound quality is good and the set is comfortable to wear for long playing sessions. It doesn't hurt the sides of my head like the Gold ones did. If you're on the fence, go ahead and jump over and buy it.

First time gaming with headphones and is crazy how different the experience is. You can hear absolutely everything. Quality is amazing and volume... I haven't even need to be maxed out. Also very comfortable to wear which was a big thing for me.

I use this headset when playing COD4. In the past, I used Turtle Beach wireless headphones -- most recently, I had used the TB Stealth 500x headset, which was (sadly) discontinued. I'm not sure why TB discontinued the 500x headset (it may have been that the 500x broke easily in inexperienced hands?), but this headset is nearly as good. I don't think the surround sound is as good in this headset, but the headset has the advantage of using an in-line mixer that comes with it. One thing you should keep in mind if considering this purchase is that works ONLY with a new xbox one controller AND the updated audio/chat adapter. So if you never upgraded your controller or if you're not sure that you have a new xbox one controller and upgraded chat adapter, then you might have only the old controller and/or chat adapter. I purchased this, then learned that I had to upgrade my controller and chat adapter. So cost-wise, this wasn't a great deal but I'm not disappointed with the overall quality. One thing I have noticed is that when I turn Xbox One on, I usually have to disconnect the chat adapter and then reconnect the chat adapter to get it to function properly. Other than this, the device works quite well.

I initially wanted a replacement for a USB headset that I own for PS4, as the cable was too short for my needs. I also wanted a headset that had mic monitoring. I knew that Turtle Beach was going to be my best option. This headset was in the price point that I was looking for, and it had the features that I wanted. It also has something that ended up being a great feature, an included amplifier for games. The game sound comes through nice and loud, with good bass. It does run on battery, although I haven't had to charge it yet (I would gauge that I've used it for around 10 hours now).

I love the amp and the comfort of these headphones and the sound but the weight of the amp is ridiculous. I use it for my xbox one. If I put the controller on the table or something else, that amp will pull the controller on the floor due to the location and weight of the amp. It will literally pull the controller on the floor wherever you put it. I'll use it for my PC too. And the weight will actually pull the headphones off my ears if not placed properly while using. Maybe I'm exaggerating a little lol, but really it's kinda annoying.. The sound is good for the price and amp battery last a while. Over all 3 out of 5

my grandson loved it I always shop best buy for all my electronics its a great place the people are wonderful there.

A better headset then most at this price range, it is a little stiff in the beginning only cause its new but once it sets in like a week of wearing, its not bad. Sound is clear, not a lot of bass so id say cant go wrong...but wait for sale, i git it for 60 bucks

My 10 year son wanted headphones for Christmas and these came recommended to us. I thought they were a little pricey at first but having used them for 3 weeks now they are great. No longer do we have to listen to Minecraft ranting and screaming as he plays with his friends online. Worth it for this alone. This aside they sound great, move easily between our pc's, xbox and kindles and have plenty of adjustments if we need them.

I use these with an Xbox One. All in all these headphones are fantastic for the price! The amp on the cord gets in the way some times but it's also really nice to have the mute and other controls right there, so it is worth it.

I bought these for my son and he loves them. After reviewing other Turtle Beach Headphones, these were the ones that had the least amount of reviews in regards to breaking at the ear piece. So it is a safe bet to say that you get what you pay for. Pay the extra dollar and buy these. From what my 16 year old says, there are awesome!
