I bought these when they were on sale for $119 and man I have not been disappointed, far from it actually. When I first got them I was really upset with out “tight” they were on my head. They almost felt like a kids headset. Took me a few weeks of gaming here and there before they finally took form. Now they are the most comfortable headset I’ve ever owned hands down. Their batter life is impeccable also. Easily get 12 straight hours of run time on a charge. Did I forget to mention the bass?! Wow these puppies crank out a very emersive sound experience. The directional accuracy of these is amazing. I recommend sound setting “bass and treble boost”. 10/10 highly recommend.

Turtle beach 420x+ are great. They connect to the xbone with a usb dongle and sync immediately. After that the only wire you need is to charge the headphones after a few hours of use. The sound quality is great, everything sounds natural. The microphone works well and is adjustable so you can position it where you want it. Also, the set will give audio clues for low battery and whether the microphone is on or off. Overall, the headset feels comfortable. The only drawback is the position of the volume toggle; i find it difficult to use while wearing the headphones. Definitely a good purchase.

So I would give this item 5 stars- because I LOVE it! But I have to say, my first time around with this item wasn't the best. I bought it new, and it broke on me only 3 days into use. I was talking online when it made a loud hissing noise then broke randomly... Tried again with headset # 2 (bought new). Well, I think I just got a lemon the first time, because this one works great! Battery life is awesome. I love it being wireless! My cats kept chewing through my wired ones... The mic quality is great. I get SO much more into my games because the audio quality is so spectacular! You can hear every footstep and the background music can be so cinematic and pull you in. The only other downside is after wearing them for probably 3+ hours, they start to hurt your head just a little bit. Overall very happy with this purchase, and I got the 2 year BBY geek squad protection this time in case it decides to break on me.

This headset is the best combination of quality sound and user-ability, high-end feel and performance, and useful features that you can get at this price point. When I purchased, they retailed $150 but were on a promo sale for $120, now they are $99 - the price was worth it before and now they are a steal. These headsets are wireless, with simple UI, just plug the USB receiver to the PC/Game-System and then slip them on and pair them. Super convenient to just keep them on a charger (micro USB) and then throw them on and sit where you want while enjoying emmersive sound. The SuperHuman hearing feature is very unique and useful for FPS games or strategy shooters where you could benefit from reacting sooner rather than later to approaching enemies/danger (this feature can be enabled/disabled, with a quick convenient button press). They also can be used for music or phone calls via the aux connector cable (you can even remove the mic boom) - the sound experience listening to music rivals a set of Beats headphones. They are also very comfortable - you can't beat this headset for the price when considering everything you get - Quality, Perforlance, and Features!

I have strayed away from turtle beach headsets due to past experiences, but the reviews were too good to not give it a shot and boy I wasn't disappointed. The quality has held up with 2 kids and well I guess 3 if I count myself, although it does feel a bit flimsy it hasn't broken. It is comfortable to wear for long gaming sessions, the mic doesn't crackle when you move it like plenty other headsets I've owned. My voice on the other end sounds clear and loud so all my friends can hear me. The headset connects flawlessly and I have yet to have a problem, I didn't even do anything just plugged it in and it just works. Battery life hasn't been tested to the max because well I don't want to ever need it and not have it, but I have fully charged it and used it 2 days in a row for about 8 hours total and it didn't die. Also I went on vacation and came back 2 weeks later and it was still charged enough for a quick 2 hour ghost recon session. The sound well it gets loud, the bass doesn't keep up with the volume though it tapers off and isn't very deep it's kinda flat, the explosions still sound great but for music it will leave you wanting more. All in all for $150 and no wires I'm sold! I give it 5 stars and I would buy it again if anything happens to it I have the warranty and I would get the same headset all over again as well.

This headset works great and it is wireless!! They sound great and have a super human hearing setting The battery lasts about 20 hours before it tells you it's low then stays on for about 1/2 hour then turns off So it stays charged for a long time is very comfortable and sounds great Great for the price

This is my 5th pair of turtle beaches I've own for various different consoles and I have to say by far are the best. This being the most high end pair I've bought. The sound it great and the battery last way longer then I expected. These are a must have. Not having a wire to plug into the controller is amazing trust me you don't know how much it's nice to have it gone till you do. Never had an issue but it's awesome now. Only small issue i have with the head set is the mute. I know it tells you on and off via voice in the head phones but if you forget there's no indication like the red light on most other head sets by the plug you no longer use. Maybe if they did a reminder tone every few minutes where you could set idk. But anyways great product

Loud, they don't echo, sound amazing, and are comfortable to wear. The controls on the headset are convenient and I love the lack Of cords. Wireless is the way to go. Battery life is excellent

I love this headset not only for gaming but even for watching movies and listening to music. A lot of times I will have the headset on when watching Netflix/Hulu/YouTube on my Xbox by myself as I don't have a great sounding TV and don't want to spend the money for a soundbar. Also glad that it has separate volumes for chat audio and Xbox audio as I know some headsets don't have that feature. I love that they are wireless, and the battery will last forever. I've used it for several gaming and movie sessions and have never had it run out of battery and never gotten a low battery notification. I do wear glasses as well and I still find them pretty comfortable

Headset is comfortable and easy to adjust. Sound is very good for this price range and the charge on the battery will last for several hours. I have used mine for over six hours straight with no sign of discharge. I would definitely recommend this headset and assuming I have no issues within the first year I would also get it again

these headphones are great. premium price, but with the dock which I love. always charged and ready to go.so many features!.. connects to your phone, so I can hear notifications when wanted. this can also be used wired for stereo sound to ps4 when ever I use it which is not often. ears are super comfy . and lots of buttons to change modes and features. the latest firmware fixes xbox live issues with mic. WORKS perfectly!

The avg battery I experienced was 4-5 hrs continuous play. Great sound and the “super human hearing” is out of this world!

Great headphones for casual to moderately heavy gaming. Very clear sound, separate game and chat volume controls. Ability to adjust bass and treble, and to mute microphone. Easy to charge and holds a charge for up to 14 hours of play. Very happy with purchase...bought 2 pairs.

Honestly I bought this same one for PS4 3 years ago. I still have them they are just unbelievably wounderful battery life is still long lasting like day one the controls on the headsets are very easy to use. Game chats and game sound are so simple to adjust. It tells you if you muted or unmuted your mic you can turn up both game sound and chat or have one high one low any way you like it. These will provide it. I bought a xbox1 and with out questions never checked on the reviews and these are the newer gen. I bought and I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase and I will buy them again even if offered more high-end expensive gaming headsets for free. Easy to install too. Plug in the USB on the Xbox and turn headsets on. That's it.

I got this particular headset for my husband to replace his Turtle Beach xo seven. It broke several times and we needed to do a product replacement. They stopped carrying the xo seven in our store so I decided to buy this one instead. He loves it! The sound is better, the headset itself is more flexible then the seven. Everything about it is great except for the fact that in order to charge it you have to plug it in to the xbox itself, and the cord isn't very long so you need to take off the headset. So you just need to remember to get it all charger up ahead of time. The charge does last awhile. It really is a great headset!

The Turtle Beach 420x Plus wireless headset are fantastic! These are my first pair of gamer headphones I've owned. In fact, I previously went with the SteelSeries Arctis 5 and returned them in exchange for the Turtle Beaches'. What made me settle was the wireless feature. I got tired of having to deal with a 3.5mm cable getting in the way. Battery last a good while too but I normally charge them before or after I get off playing. The surround sound is nice too. Also, the (plus) feature is the super human hearing (along with other presets too) so you can hear footsteps and mic is detachable. Lastly, the headset is convertible into headphones so if you need them to listen to music on the go or whatever.

Love the headset. I paid $118 in beginning of May 2017. So far its been worth every penny. Long lasting battery, sound modes are a plus, Headset jack is useful. If a game doesn't have music you can listen to some from your phone all while hearing your game AND chatting with friends. My only 2 cons are: 1- no battery indicator so you have to gauge your charges through trial and error. 2- They sit a little tight against your head. I only notice it after an hour or two of straight playing. I usually take a break and continue on afterwards. All in all, great sounding wirelessheadset.

This headset has great sound quality, a good microphone which is removable for watching movies or TV in privacy, and great battery life. As with any device with rechargeable Li-Ion batteries, it took a few cycles to see the full capacity of battery life. I love the easy to find controls, especially the mic mute, which allows you to be polite if you have a cough or sneeze in the middle of the game. These are stereo headphones, not surround, but they have very good separation between left and right channels. I am also able to use the headset on my Windows 10 computer, which is an added bonus.

For me this headset has a great battery life. Great sound quality, with the sound boost making it even better. My only complaint would be the volume controls are very sensitive.

I bought this as a recommendation from a friend. Holds a long charge and easy setup. This model has a mute button versus the latest sets by the same company. I would purchase this one again over all the other models for sure.
