Customers are saying

Customers praise the Ear Force Stealth 520 headset's exceptional sound quality, comfortable fit for many, and long battery life. Positive feedback also highlights its wireless convenience and generally affordable price. However, some users mention that the headset's fit may be too tight for certain head sizes, and the volume control placement is a potential issue for some. The overall experience is largely positive, with many users finding the headset to be a great value.

My first thought of them that there very light & comfortable I recently had the 500s they are exactly same sound quality as the 500s they have the superhuman changeover which is really horrible not worth the extra dollars

I returned the one I bought only because my son wanted a different style. I used it for a couple of hours with the PS4, playing Battlefield 1 online. Sound is great, good bass. Chat Mic worked ok . Some muffling or so I was told. I don't know about the superhuman hearing. If there was a button or switch to turn it on, I could not find it. Very light in weight and comfortable to wear. It has the leather or leatherish ear pads. Pretty solid and sturdy unit overall but if you're familiar with Turtle Beach, then you know how they are made. Like I said, had them for less then 16 hours so I couldn't tell you how long the battery last. I do know that they are charged up right outta the box. I tried walking around the house with them on and noticed they did not disconnect. If they did start to fade in and out it was probably at 40-45 feet away from the PS4. I thought that was pretty good.

I bought these for my 14 year old son. He loves them. He was having issues with sound with the original headset, so we decided to try Turtle Beach. Have not had a problem with them and they have been used by both my 12 year old and 14 year old son. they get a lot of use!! They like the sound quality and do not have any issues with online gaming audio fading in and out like we had with the other set.

They make such a difference with their surround sound cabability. I did research and saw that alot of people complained about durability. I had no issues whats so ever, i can go 4-5 playing a few hours sithout having to charge it. Great deal around black friday so i couldnt pass them up I certianly eould recommend this sei

My brother got a pair of these, so I did too. After reading lots of reviews online good and bad, I decided to get these. So far, about a month in, they still work great and the bass is definitely there. Great sound quality. The cons: they're a little hard to get set up with the PS4. Until you've had a week or so to really break them in, they feel like they're going to squeeze your head till it pops. And the "superhuman hearing" is lame. All it does is removes all bass so everything is a high trebble, unilevel sound. Playing Destiny 2 campaign and multiplayer, I noticed no difference in subtle noise amplification. However, worth the $100 definitely. It's also awesome to be able to indepentently adjust game volume and chat volume.

Great product overall, the super human hearing is amazing for FPS. Booming sound and easy to use/setup. Headset was a bit tight on my head which made extended playing painful so I stuck a stack of dvd's in between the headset to stretch it out and it easy to wear and use now ...4 star for quality of material, it feels cheep and others have reported it snapping at the plastic hinge ..for $100 I would've expected exceptional build quality even for plastic but I just got the extended warranty just in case ...battery life is all day long on a single charge of you can play that long ...the 7.1 surround sound was a big surprise for headphones and sounds amazing! Amazing headset and features considering what you get for only $100

My husband and I were looking for headphones to use with our PS4. We did not do much research and had a budget to stick with. We came across these headphones in the store at a great price and are extremely happy with them. They are wireless, allow for you to use the microphone for chat in game, and are really comfortable. So far the charge has held very long and they are really easy to pair with the PS4. The sound quality is fantastic. It really puts you in the game so to speak.

These were an upgrade for my son's headphones from an older model that finally died. Compatible with his PS4 and my husband's PS4 Pro. Both state they are comfortable and sound crystal clear. Pay for the extra Geek Squad warranty of $15 as well. It is worth it should you need to use it. My son's replacement pair only cost $20 to upgrade versus $99 since we had purchased the $15 3 year warranty previously.

It pairs well with the PS4, no complications. Sound it's outstanding, you can hear every step, even the subtlest noise. Separate volume controls for game and chat lets you adjust to your liking. Battery is decent, charges very fast. It is very comfortable, for a normal size head. Ear padding as are soft and snug around the ears they cancel outside noises quite well. Truly recommend this headset.

I have friends who use the Astro gaming headset with Mixamp... although it is very nice and top of the line, it is so expensive brand new! almost the cost a of a new console. I got this headset on sale for $99 and its been worth every penny. Wireless and surround sound is awesome. Playing Destiny and FPS is a dream and of course boost my overall experience with any game I play, even 2k17

I had been using an old BlueAnt X3 Micro bluetooth for gaming, which was great for chat, but did nothing as far as gaming sound. It finally died and I decided to upgrade to Turtle Beach. I used these with Battlefield 4 and the sound quality is great. The 7.1 surround sound lets me hear exactly which direction a sound is coming from so I know where the enemy are before they get too close. The different presets (bass boost, bass and treble boost, natural and vocal boost are good to customize the sounds to your liking. I like that there are two independent volume controls. One for game sounds and one for chat sounds. My only complaint is that it's supposed to have voice feedback so that you can hear yourself through the speakers so that you can avoid shouting. It does have that feature. However, your own voice is so quiet that you can barely hear yourself and you end up shouting anyway. This resulted in my wife being woke up at 1:30 in the morning. That's the only thing I would change. Have another volume level for your own voice. Other than that it's definitely worth getting this headset.

Been using opt Turtle Beach 520 headset for a couple months now and I'm very happy with them. I'm picky when it comes to headsets. This one has great battery life, good sound and voice quality and very comfortable to wear for hrs of gaming. Friends that I play with have bought these on my recommendation and they love them as well

Pros - good sound, decent battery, comfortable fit, mic works well Cons - the only drawback is that after extended wear, my head/ears get pretty warm. I have another friend who purchased these that commented that the band could crack after awhile and that care should be taken when putting on/removing the headphones.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I am upgrading from my 5 year old Turtle Beach PX3 headset and the sound quality is what I've come to expect from this brand. Only had to upgrade due to the PX3s not able to hold a charge any longer but I am happy with my purchase. The wireless range is great with me being in a long room away from my tv and the virtual surround sound is spot on. Also added with the 520 set over the 500 series is the super human hearing. It makes a difference in online multi-player being able to hear footsteps and reloads. Functionality is very much improved over my old headset. Just plug in the usb and plug the supplied optical cable to the playstation. My old set had a box and multiple wires. They look sleek and feel good.

This is not the best headset out there but for the price this performs very well. I think it is better than the gold Sony although the Sony is a good headset (owned prior). The surround sound on these turtle beaches is clear, voice chat works well (better than Sony) and they are comfortable for longer gaming sessions. Liked them so much I purchased a pair for my son as a gift.

Great headset. Independent game and chat volume controls. Comfortable enough for an day gaming. Only complaint is the boom mic. It comes out so you can use the headset as headphones and some times it moves when i set it down and my right side speakers quit till i pull it out and put it back in.

I’ve had four pair of these in the last 2 years. They are a good product sound and comfort wise. When it comes to durability they are lacking big time. The key is to get the two year replacement plan. Best Buy usually replaces them without a question.
