i purchased this headset for my dad to hook to the tv so he doesn't need the volume at 90. Pros: hook up was easy and simple it hooks up via fiber optics and a USB drive for the blue tooth took two sec. and it puts sound out job both on the tv and the headset( so far works on a lg and Samsung tv modles) easy to use for my dad that can't even turn a computer on Con: in this application these headset are a on ear headset so it is kinda hard for my dad to line it up with the hearing aid, also this makes it much tighter and tends to not be as comfortable as my px51's over longer movies. The biggest problem was Best Buy's associates, I asked at a store in Fargo and imeditly they said couldn't be done(which I have a set up like this on a discontinued headset at my house). So I went to some competitors and didn't like the selection they had so I took my dad into a different Best Buy and again I asked the guy in tv's and he told me it couldn't be done. I was like well I do it now and it hooks up like this and he change his answer to "well if you do it that way it would work but they don't make gaming headsets like they anymore". So I walk around the corner to find this one right in the middle of the aisle. Hooks up just like I explained earlier, works flawlessly didn't even need to change any settings on the tv. Idk how many people ask these questions but I feel like this is a big problem for people with hearing loss.

Can hear in all directions, which makes it nice. Can be used wired or wireless.

The headphones work amazing you can hear every detail. The problem I have with them is how you hook them up. I run audio from my PS4 to my receiver via optical digital cable and the headphones require an optical digital hookup. That means every time I want to use them I have to switch the optical digital line on the back of the PS4. This is not a good thing to have to do with your optical digital cables.

Perfect sound and noise cancellation. Battery doesnt go out for a while.

I should have trusted my gut (and previous experience with Turtle Beach). Upon getting my PS4, I first used high quality headphones. Poor sound! Then I used the Sony PS4 Gold headphones. Surprisingly, also poor sound (couldn't tell where anyone was coming from). Turtle Beach provided quality sound... now I can hear where those pesky Watchers are when I'm hiding in the bushes.

Awesome sound! The only complaint I would have is it was a little small for my ears

I've was using a Sony gold headset and the wireless transmitter started having issues. I gotten the geek squad protection and was able to trade it in on these 520x. Oh my what a difference. Way easier to use and better quality of sound. I'm not a fan of the superhuman hearing though. I like a full rich sound so I leave it on normal mode. I hope these last longer than my golds did.
