We needed it to replace a missing cable

Sure it would normally work for the correct purpose though.

Replacement part worked with X4

It was easy to pop out the broken piece and then purchased a new talk back cable. Though the X4 is not listed it does work with it. This was originally my concern when I purchased the product.
