Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Elite Pro 2 Wired Gaming Headset's superior sound quality and comfortable earcups as significant strengths. Many appreciate the Bluetooth functionality and the overall quality of the packaging. It’s a very nice headset with excellent sound quality, but make sure to keep the amp fully updated at all times or may experience glitches. Honestly not really worth the price, probably better off getting the cheaper models.

I bought this headset which is a bit pricey but for what it is it's good. although the wiring is kinda annoying to deal with and it's not wireless Bluetooth like it should be. That's no the problem tho. The problem is I've had two replacements of this headset cause I'll be using it then out of nowhere the left side of the headset stops working. Thought it was the wire. Bought a new wire, nope. Got an exchange for a new headset and after a month the same thing happened again. Overall good Headset. Only bad thing is the quality, price, and all the wires.

Had the original elite pro headsets the orange rings would break and the headphones would become loose and put extra pressure on my ears. I returned them and got Astro a50’s and used them for a week the sound quality wasn’t that good and the microphone was terrible. So I order the elite pro 2 headphones and I’m very happy with these. The sound is great after you updated the firmware and the phone app is a great feature. Only complaint is the mute button is on the wire below the headphones.

The comfort, design and quality of these headsets are unrivaled to any other headset that I’ve been able to try. The sound amp is probably my favorite feature for being able to connect my phone. It allows you to from your phone stream music, take phone calls and much more. If you can afford to spend the $200 it is well worth the price.

The Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 Wired Gaming Headset with Elite SuperAmp is a pretty sweet headset. The packaging and presentation is first-rate. Unboxing gives the impression this is a quality product. Handling the headset affirms that initial impression. TB has done a nice job here. Getting everything in ready-to-go mode is pretty easy. The headphones are also versatile. They can be used with an xbox One, PC, phone (as long as it has a headphone jack), tablet, computer, or streaming device like Roku. The earpads are large and comfortable, as is the headband. Despite the visual bulk, the headphones don't get too heavy during extended wear, which important if you're going to use them for gaming. An odd thing, at least to me, is that the volume is more limited when using the SuperAmp than without it. With it, you get great sound detail. Without it, you get better volume. You'll have to decide which way you prefer it. But the SuperAmp part is supposed to be the big draw with these headphones. The headphones themselves have neither physical nor gesture controls. You volume rocker is on the cable, since they always have to remain tethered to something. The SuperAmp has a master volume dial. I really wished I could crank it to 11, though, b/c it just never really got loud enough to be deeply immersive. Also, if you're using the SuperAmp, it's a bit of a pain to have to adjust volume by fiddling with the SuperAmp. I'd much prefer to have at least some controls on the headset. The mic works great and is very responsive. Another design grip, though, is that you can't mute from the headphone itself; you have to use the controls on the cable. The cables are generously sized though, so you have plenty of room to range. I'd like a fully BT option baked in, though. On the whole, though, these sound good, look good, seem like very good quality, and are super comfortable to wear for long periods. That's good enough to highly recommend them.

These are great headphones, I really like most of the features. Two of us play in the same room and the headphones are able to block most of the other persons voice. The only thing I don't like is When its blue tooth to my phone, text alerts are super loud. The only way I have found to change this it to turn the ringer on the phone down.

Overall headset is great quality. I had to return because I do not play my xbox on a desk so the cable length and cables attached kind of got in my way. Slightly annoying to always have to stretch them and and put away after every game session. If you play on a desk then no issue. Definitely update before using

I have been using the Elite Pro since it launched, and have loved using it. This is a welcome update to the original, and while the app can be a bit temperamental, the feature of playing music through the hub is really cool! While I would not normally answer the phone while gaming, the option is there if in the middle of a campaign and don't want to halt playing to answer the phone. I have the Xbox version that is white, and I have mixed feelings about the longevity of them looking less than clean, but I am very happy about having them in white. The ear cushions are leatherette or vinyl, with cloth that rests against your face. These ear cups are moveable and there is a provision for those of us who wear glasses, which makes them comfortable to wear; awesome! Both of these are two of my pet peeves with headsets, so these are very nice and necessary features. I always wish I had wireless headsets, but then I find out that when I get them the battery runs out, or I forget to charge them. Another issue with wireless headsets is that the volume is lower than a wired set. These are hard hitting headsets that will please most, if not all gamers. These gaming headsets are what I would describe as a great gaming headset for anyone who wants a premium feel and sound. They are not your bargain basement headset, and they sound as good as they look. The litlle things, like cloth that rests against your face and the way they work with your glasses, shows how a premium headset is designed vs. a basic headset. And they are truly worth the premium price. If you are not happy with them, and I'm sure you will be, you can return them to Best Buy and they will gladly refund your money or swap them for something else.
