Even better than the similar one that comes with turtle beach headphones. Its a bit louder making it easier to hear players further away. Something you dont normally get if playing wireless. Doesnt kill your batteries either. Buttons a lil hard to press tho if you toggle mute your mic alot and mute ligh blinks instead of staying on making you look down alot to confirm your mic is muted. I recommend inline mute if uou have one built in your headset wire.

This is a very useful (but not required) dongle for headset audio control. Most Xbox controllers have an 1/8 inch input for headphones, so this product isn't a requirement for using headphones. However, this makes the experience a lot better as it has volume control and voice chat/game audio mixing control right on the device.

It made my boys headset work. It's too expensive but they had to have it to be able to use their headset.

Pretty good product I use my beats with this works cool, but does lose connection sometimes. Not a big deal I just turn the controller off then back on always fixes it. I've had about 1 month and a half dropped it a couple times still fine. Great for the price I always go with the whole " you get what you paid for" quote so I wasn't expecting something fancy.

Works as intended, the buttons make using the headset so much easier The only issue I've had with it is trying to remove it since I use rechargeable packs for my controller, other than removal, its perfect.

Spent hours trying to rectify the audio issues with my son’s headphones and his XBox. The components in the XBox controller are awful and the audio jack breaks regularly. This attachment worked instantly and is still working months later. Unfortunately, XBox has terrible craftsmanship so this is a necessary part for connecting a wired headset to a controller.

This thing is great! I use it all the time when playing. Only thing that is lame is that it only works well with my xbox one controller. I got the xbox series x and it still works, just doesn't allow me to turn chat or game volume. Most likely becuase they want you to buy their latest one for the xbox series x

This adds cool functionally like controlling the sound volume with ease straight from the controller. It’s really a 4.5 rating. The reason I don’t give it a 5 is because it makes an already bulky controller bulkier and it didn’t solve my initial problem, which was getting my nose headphones mic to work with the Xbox so take that into consideration :)
