I was an xbox360 fan for a long time and recently picked up a PS4 from Best Buy. I had an older Turtle Beach headset that i used with my 360 and wanted to use it for awhile until i can save up for a newer bluetooth set. I picked up this kit and it worked great! Simple setup, all the cords are included and my old headset worked like a charm on the PS4. I had to go into the settings and lower my mic volume to 1/16 to avoid peaking. The downside i see with this setup is the USB connector. Since PS4's USB ports are on the front, this big dangling adapter looks ugly. However, it does not require a USB connection to the PS4 since it appears the USB merely powers the unit. I plugged the adapter into the back USB port of my Xbox360 and connected the remaining wires to my PS4 and BOOM! hidden adapter, working Turtle Beaches.. 35 bucks spent. If you can find another USB in your entertainment center thats hidden this adapter is awesome.

so I got a new headset but is not really compatible for the ps4 if you want to use all the functions so I found out about this little upgrade kit so I didn't pay anything for the headphones so I said why not you should just give it free but that's my view hope it works great

I bought this because I already had a headset and didn't want to buy another one. Works great and now I can listen to the game music with out turning up the tv.

This is an awesome little digital audio to analog audio adapter. Super convenient for more than even headphones.

    Not worth it

You are better off getting the 10 or 15 dollar cord to connect your headset to the controller. I don't want a cord going from my ps4 across my floor(10 plus ft) to my headset for it to work. Not worth it in my book. Just wish sony would allow other bluetooth headsets to work with the ps4.
