....they are not. Save a little extra money and buy new because, these Refurbs are f-----g garbage. On my second set and while I did work for over an hour with TB tech support trying to update firmware on my PC, we got absolutely nowhere. The Tech convinced me that this was a on in a million error and that he had never experienced before. Well, he must have been hibernating in a cave because guess what happened with my second pair??? The same exact problem which led to the same NON solution. AVOID!!!!!!

these headphone which where top of the line flagship headphones by turtle beach before they were disconntuned for $299.99. I bought them refurbished for 110 and 13 months later the arm broke above right ear had to tape together and then two days later the receiver went out and would not pair to headset. and makeing them completely usless. Just research this model pairing issue online you will see multiple reports ofbthis issue. I have heard from many friends and reviews that there other model turtle beach break all the time. Stay away from this company not just this model.nightmare to deal with and will not help. I called turtle beach and basically they said tuff out of warranty. Get a couple soup cans and a long string and it will work better. Horriable product. I would give a negative 10 if I could

I don't use me headphones much, I play mainly single player games and only use these when I play multiplayer. I have had them for 7 months and they broke where the adjuster is on the right side. Very poor design I have contacted Turtle Beach and will update with info on how that goes.
