There are SO many positives when it comes to these headphone from the materials used to the thought process behind features which make these a must have. The headphones are made super well and all of the buttons have a nice tactile feel to them. The ear cups are soft and the head strap is firm enough to keep them on your head but not to where it feels like a clam smushing your ears. The sound on these is AMAZING you can hear footsteps and rustling in the bushes in shooters to help you stay one step ahead. Now the sound and materials are expected to be high end but what really make these a must have are the small little things. 1. The charging is USB C which is what everyone is at/going to so you don't need more charing wires 2. The transmitter for the headphones makes it so there is NO INTERFERENCE from other devices, especially with there being so many wireless devices in our houses this is a must and removes any/all lag. 3. Mic monitering so this is so you can hear your self when you speak, that way you know if your being overloud/tone etc however these helped me just gently hear someone else that was talking to me. 4. The battery life was perfect, now it does do up and down depending on how high set certain items to but that's a given and the drop off on everything being high isn't that much. 5.Glasses friendly , not everyone will find this useful but its a major plus. 6. Flip to mute mic feature, this work so well and is so needed espically when your in a game and someone walks in telling something you may not want others to hear haha. Its an absolute must so much better than having to push a button, the flipping motion to turn on/off the mic just seems more natural

There are a lot of things to like about these headphones. Good battery life, attached microphone, wireless, multi-platform capabilities, and overall ease of use are all pros. The audio quality is clear and concise, obviously not as good as a wired headset but about as good as one could expect from a wireless headset. They charge very quickly via USB-C, and there was no hassle setting them up on PC. The instructions were very clear on how to navigate to the Turtle Beach website and download the audio hub, which added many additional functionalities to the headset. That being said, these headphones were designed for Playstation and not every Playstation user has easy access to a computer. It can be a bit of a hassle for them to get the proper firmware on the headset. Additional cons would be that these are not the most comfortable. The foam is rather hard. They are too small to encompass my entire ear, leading to a small bit of my lobe being pinched or having to scrunch my ear in them a bit. The attached microphone is nice, functionally, but it does pick up audio a little too much due to the distance from your mouth. Finally, the overall design of the headphones just feels a bit stiff and clunky. In conclusion, these are pretty good headphones. For me, if they were a bit more comfortable and the microphone was a better, that would make them excellent.

The two most important components of playing video games are the visual quality and sound quality. When both are high end, the game is fun to play. That is where a great seat of gaming headphones really makes the experience so enjoyable. Turtle Beach is known for comfortable, yet great sounding headsets and this is no exception. This headset requires the included dongle and does not offer Bluetooth connectivity. The dongle works flawlessly with both a PC and my PS4. Connectivity was fast and easy when following the instructions included with the headset. There are a few steps to follow with the PlayStation setup, but it works with a PC without setup. The headset is rated to be worn comfortably with glasses and the description is accurate. The cushioning is soft and sits lightly on my head with no discomfort in the temple area or around the ear cushions. The ear cushions are just right for blocking out unwanted sound while offering comfortable wearing for quite some time. The sound is incredible, putting you right in the scene of the game. It is subversive and there are four out of the box blends for the equalizer and all sound very good. I am a bass and treble boost fan, so I use the setting that boosts both ranges. The microphone is sturdy and useful with the ability to turn it on and off by raising it and lowering it. I was really happy with the variable microphone monitoring control, which allows more or less outside sound through the headset. This is handy not only for gaming, but for working as well.

I've tried a lot of different headphones over the last couple of years as I've really gotten into playing COD with actual teams and trying to communicate. These so far have been the best that I've tried. I know they are not on the same level as a professional gaming headset, but here is what I've found with these. First, the battery life has been amazing. I think I played nightly for about 2 weeks before they died. My only issue with this is that there didn't seem to be a notification on screen or a flashing light. It might have beeped but it was faint enough to where I didn't hear it. Second, the sound it pretty good. I can hear much better and my teammates said they could hear me better as well. The overall sound quality is very good. I could hear footsteps way better and I could tell where sounds were coming from as well. This was a big win. My only real complain is that the are comfortable but the earpads seem to be just a little too small. The fit on my ear as opposed to completely encompassing my ear. I've had this problem before so not a huge deal just a little weird feeling when you were it for a long time...over my big ears. Overall - they've become my go too headphones due to the sound quality and the battery life.

It has great sound and I love that you can adjust the surrounding noise and volume right there on the headset. It feels and fits great and my head doesn't feel like it's being squeezed. I'm never going back to wired headsets again.

We really liked this headset. Out of the box, it is sleek and has a cool design. It was very well packaged and came with the headset, a wireless USB transmitter, a USB charging plug, and the instructions. We charged the headset overnight and were ready to go the following morning. Setup was a breeze, simply plug the transmitter in and turn on the headset. Everything is already paired and it worked right away. The quick-start guide recommends that you plug the transmitter into the front USB ports on your PS5, which we did. Playing around with the settings is a little cumbersome when you have the headset on. There are two buttons and two dials which get a little confusing when you have the headset on and cannot see them. One button is the on/off and superhuman sound trigger and the other is a mode button to switch between the preset eq levels. One dial is for the mic volume and the other for headset volume. I thought that having the superhuman hearing and on/off button as the same button might be a problem, but it really isn't. Once you get used to everything, it becomes second nature. The ear muffs have a cloth material. I much prefer soft leather it is much more comfortable than this cloth. Perfomance-wise, this headset hits the mark. Sound is crystal clear and the volume gets loud enough for my old ears. The superhuman hearing feature was very impressive. It really does allow you to hear nuances in the background that you might not hear otherwise. The microphone works great as well. No one has any problems hearing and it is not in the way. All in all, this is a very good headset and I definitely recommend. Minus a star for the cloth and the amount of buttons and knobs.

Background noise on console makes people not want to play with you. I’ll be returning mine. What a shame.

TLDR: This headset works as advertised and for most people, will provide a totally fine audio experience while gaming. For anyone who's picky about their audio, you may find it lacking. For context: I used this headset on a PS5 and before writing this, have used it to play Bloodborne, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and the Spyro remaster. I used 3D audio while playing Ratchet and Clank. Starting with the unboxing, it's not overly fancy and most of the materials seem to be recyclable, which is always nice to see. The headset requires an adapter (included). Some may not like that but personally, I found it simplified the setup process. Getting up and running was a breeze and took less than ten minutes. Overall build quality is on par with what you'd likely expect. It's pretty much all plastic but doesn't feel like it'll break easily. The padding on the earcups is nice, although the earcups themselves are kinda small. They're definitely on-ear as opposed to over-ear. It's unfortunate because for me at least, that makes this headset uncomfortable to wear after about half an hour or so. The audio quality is just okay. I wasn't particularly impressed but it's serviceable. Now, for context, I'm an audio engineer and usually use a headphone/mic setup that's substantially more expensive. "Serviceable" to me could very well be "great" to you. This is especially so if you're a parent buying this for a child. That being said, I found the soundstage to be rather small, the stereo imaging to be lacking in detail, and most of the EQ modes to be unusable. However, I will say that if loudness is a concern, this headset has you covered. I found it to be pretty comfortable at around 60%. I'm giving this four stars because honestly, I think as long as you're comfortable with the on-ear design and aren't expecting outstanding sound quality, you'll find these suit your needs just fine. However, I don't think I would be quick to recommend this headset otherwise.

It works as headphones should and it was within budget.

These headphones are excellent for the PS5. Connects right away, no hesitation, good quality and great sound. Very happy with my purchase. Salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable of the product.

my husband absolutely loves it, it block out sounds perfectly but you can also have it to where you can hear background noise if you want! Its so nice he can play loud shooting games while i sleep

Great device all around. The sound is awesome as it even goes from ear to ear. I use it for Fortnite, so helps a lot with house sensitive it is. Love it

When I got the headphones I was surprised to see that the battery lasts up to 24 Hrs, and There fore I would suggest buying it!

This was a gift, the giftee loves them. They are his 2nd pair, first pair was in a fire. These are the only kind he will use.
