I have the original STEALTH 600 first gen for 1 year now the new gen 2 is a little more comfortable and very comfortable all day play. Battery life is awesome grandson using all day battery still strong, controls are convenient especially like mic position and flipping mic up for auto mute. Crystal clear no static. I have 2 xboxes XBOX1S and XBOX1X in our home for my grandkids now they can both play units with 2 headsets so Nanny and Papa don't have hear game playing. The 600 gen2 has all the features and performance you need and especially comfortable at a fair price without having to spend more money for top of line model. 600 gen2 is a must have for xbox well thought out design and comfort just buy it you can't go wrong.

I gave this to my grandson for his 16th birthday . He really likes it for his gaming. The one thing that I don’t like and he loves is that when he has them on he can’t hear me when I’m talking to him. Lol it’s great for the price.

Pros: Sounds good. It's wireless. It connects well to the XSX.
Cons:
This thing broke at the adjustable head band... While I was wearing it.
The entire thing is structured with thin plastic, and it's very cheaply put together.
In order to fix the return feedback sound volume (hearing yourself talk), you're going to need to hook it up to a PC and adjust it there - which requires an app download. No presets available like the old TB mixamp would provide.
Also very tight on the head... I have never had this problem before, but it is borderline uncomfortable for an adult to wear.
My wired XOs are much more comfortable and have better feel quality than this. I feel like turtle beach really skimped on the quality here.
I've reached out to their support team, but i'm not optimistic. I think these guys may have lost a customer who's been around for 15+ years.
If you buy it, you better get the replacement warranty on it because it isn't going to last you. My luck with TB headsets has been so good, I didn't think I needed it and now I'm 100 bucks out.

PROs:
- Probably one of the better SOUNDING gaming headsets I’ve heard in a LONG time and easily stacks up against the top contenders I’ve auditioned and kept/retired from HyperX, Corsair, Razer, Logitech, Sennhesier, and Steelseries (I’ve gone through at least 15 different wired and wireless gaming headsets over the past 6 years)…provides both outstanding quality game audio as well as being incredibly musical; bass is tight, punchy and authoritative, vocals are clear and lifelike, and highs are sparkly without being harsh or fatiguing—overall this is an incredibly capable and fun-sounding headset, especially for the price
- 4 different sound profile modes are available via quick tap of the side “MODE” button—an audible set of tones (1 beep through 4 beeps) indicates whether you’re using the signature sound profile (in my opinion, the best sounding of the bunch), bass boost, v-shaped bass and treble boost, or vocal enhancement (for movies or dialogue-heavy games)
- Superhuman hearing mode (available through a quick toggle of the power button) is no joke—takes the already engaging sound-field and amplifies critical and subtle background and directional sound cues and makes them incredibly easy to pick out from the active soundtrack
- Fully integrated controls and boom mic makes for a very clean and streamlined look—no protruding wires, switches, dongles or hardware when everything is stowed away
- Mute the boom mic just by lifting it up part way from the fully deployed position—lets you momentarily mute without having to fully stow away the mic into the earcup (as an added bonus, activation/deactivation tones accompany mic mute/mic deployment so you can tell if you’ve got a hot mic or not)
- Boom mic position is slightly adjustable towards/away from your mouth by a small pivot joint at the earcup—mic audio quality is excellent as reported by my teammates and sidetone adjustment is possible using the Turtle Beach Hub app
- Audio status tone volume is adjustable (again, via the Turtle Beach Hub) and the tones are actually audible without having to don the headset itself…kind of a nice feature that lets you dial in the settings (Superhuman hearing, sound profile, mic status, etc.) you want without having to do it blindly by touch after the headset is already on your ears
- Independent, rubber-finished, knurled chat and game volume rotary controls feel reassuringly solid and allow you to dial in the perfect blend of team-speak and game volume
- Numbered and graduated headband markers are visible through the headband cutouts and make it easy to re-size after loaning your cans to a friend or stowing them for travel
- Unique over-the-ear pad design better matches natural shape of the ear; passive isolation is actually quite aggressive yet the fabric mesh covered foam pads didn’t get my ears hot even after several hours of gaming
- Despite the all-plastic construction, these actually feel pretty darned solid without any tell-tale plastic creak (at least in my set) indicating thin or cheap construction—time will tell, of course, just how well they hold up
- Pairing on the Xbox and on my Win 10 PC with the Xbox dongle was effortless—press the enroll button on the console/dongle and the join button on the headset and they connected inside of 3 seconds—no skips, disconnects or dropouts in more than a week of testing
- Battery life seems to track as advertised—the first time I had to recharge the unit was more than a week after unpacking it at 3-4 hours of gameplay a day
- Fully compatible with Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Sound Unbound surround sound apps on my Windows PC; switching between surround schemes was instantaneous and trouble-free (MUCH better than my recent experiences with a Corsair wireless set which simply refused to register as surround-capable until at least 2-3 minutes after powering on)
- Included USB-A to USB-C charging cable means I don’t have to go hunting for a separate cable to keep the headset juiced up, nor do I need to find an open ‘they’re-still-not-quite-everywhere-yet’ USB-C port or charger
CONs:
- I SO desperately wanted to love this headset because the sound quality really is quite exceptional, but the clamping force is more than just substantial--it bordered on painful, at least for me (my head circumference is about 60 cm). This inward pressure on the ears was exacerbated by the fact that the otherwise noteworthy build quality made the headphones feel unyielding and stiff, and the earcups don’t have a great deal of freedom for up/down tilt to relieve that inward pressure—they required constant forward/backward readjustment and tweaking of side-to-side pivot just to keep them on my head without resorting to a set of external speakers out of frustration or outright pain
- Although the underside of the headband features a quite gushy foam pad (in fact, it feels softer than the foam used in the ear pads), the high inwards clamping force bent the headband up and away from the curvature of my head and thus still resulted in a significant hotspot at the very top of my head
- The unique ear-pad shape is somewhat lost on the user by the fact that this is not a circumaural set of headphones—the earpad openings are actually pretty small and therefore the pads rest on most portions of the ear rather than encircle and enclose them…if you have a slightly larger head like mine, or you just don’t care for earpads resting ON your ears, be advised that the pads may end up producing some discomfort over prolonged gaming sessions
- I let my wife try out the headset to see if my experiences were unique to me and my physiology. Her head is smaller than mine and indeed she did not experience the same kind of clamping force discomfort that I did—in fact, she noted that the earpads seemed glasses-friendly while trying them out, but she did notice that the foam in the earpads felt a bit stiff and “hard”…she wondered why they weren’t made of the same soft and pillowy material that was used for the headband cushion
- Superhuman hearing mode is great for getting a leg up on some competitive FPS action but can result in distortion or over-emphasis of musical cues or other high frequency elements of the game’s soundtrack that can even become harsh over time—definitely not a set-it-and-forget-it control if you vary your gameplay across many different genres of games
- The audio cues serving as status indicators (soundfield mode, mic status, Superhuman hearing, etc.) are serviceable but vocal prompts would have been welcome—waiting to hear if I was on the 3-beep or 4-beep soundfield setting, and then having to remember which was which took more time and effort than it really needed to
- The clean, streamlined controls and button/dial layout actually proved kind of troublesome for me in practice. The power button is completely flush with the outer shell of the earpad, and it’s EXACTLY the same shape and size as the only SLIGHTLY raised MODE button that happens to sit just millimeters away from it. Once on my head, it was virtually impossible to find the power button to engage/disengage Superhuman Hearing or hit that vs the MODE button on the first try. I was similarly fumbling around for the volume dial and invariably adjusted chat volume by mistake. Some distinction in control button shapes (maybe one dial and one slider; one button and one switch, etc.) or placement of the controls around the earcup or even moving a control or two to the other side of the headphone (so the controls aren’t bunched SO tight and close together) would have made it a bit easier to work with in the dark and by touch alone
- The four soundfield presets are a welcome touch and it’s great that you don’t need an app to activate any of them on the go, but given that you need the Turtle Beach Hub app to update firmware, adjust the status tone volume and sidetone volume, why not add a custom EQ option to the mix as well? The “Signature” sound mode was very fun and quite engaging, but the other boost modes just didn’t do much for me—I would have loved the option to personalize the sound profile even further. Obviously, YMMV…
- Although the earcup pivot range is extensive, the headphones still do not fold perfectly flat making packing in a bag or backpack a little more troublesome than it should be
Bottom line:
If you’ve got the right sized/shaped head (read: maybe a little on the smallish side?) to accommodate these headphones, the out-of-the-box audio quality and performance you’ll get in return from the Stealth 600 Gen 2 is truly top notch. Usability takes a bit of a hit in my book due to the small, indistinct, and somewhat cramped placement of the controls, but once you have the soundfield and volume settings dialed in to your liking, maybe you won’t need to adjust the controls that often anyway??? Given my personal experience with these headphones, I would recommend them based on sound quality and performance/value per dollar, but still caution ANYONE against a blind buy due to the comfort and fit issues that ultimately proved to be a deal-breaker for me.

It's a really good headset, but MAN, is it easily broken. After 3 months of use, the right muff started to crack (that grey line), which makes it very loose to wear. This headset was never dropped, just used daily. I hit up Turtle Beach support a few days ago, but they have yet to respond.
I spoke to a friend who formerly had this headset, and apparently there's broke in the same way. Overall, it's nice, but breaks easily. I'm looking into the Stealth 700 gen 2, especially since it has metal where this one cracked.

This is a review for Turtle Beach 600 Gaming headphones
Package Content:
Stealth 600 Gen 2 Xbox Headset
USB-C Charge Cable
Quick start guide
BUILD QUALITY
It is all plastic but that not necessarily a bad thing. i think it is well constructed and there are no creaks. So i can attest to the fact that it is well made.
The boom mic cannot be removed and when you pull it up , it mutes.
There is a power button. The Headset includes a chat volume and headset volume controls. There is an LED indicator to indicate whether it is on. Charging is through a type c port.
It has a mode button to toggle between modes -
Signature Sound
Bass Boost
Bass + Treble Boost
Vocal Boost
Connect button will connect the headset to a Xbox One or a computer which has a Xbox logo.
SETUP
There is a new software update available, so make sure to hook this headset to a windows or a MAC PC. Make sure to install Turtle Beach audio hub to download and install the latest firmware.
Make sure to charge the headphone to 100% before you. The LED turns off to indicate that it is fully charged,.
Once Charged, turn on the headset by long pressing the POWER button. Once turned on, the LED will be lit. Now you can pair with the Xbox by pressing the engage button and pressing and holding the connect button on the headset.
USAGE
Once connect, i played a few games, mainly shooter games. The Bass Boost mode does enhance the bass pretty well. The sound signature is warm. Overall there is a good amount of Boom and good highs and good spatial representation of sound which is important in gaming.
Superhuman mode is a little hard, so i tend to keep it off. This can be turned ON or OFF by pushing the power button.
Battery life is claimed to be 15 hours and it did come close to the claimed battery life.
VERDICT
Overall i think at this price is it a good value and if you are an avid gamer, this is a must have.

Broke in less than a year ugh..
Do not buy, the flimsy plastic it's made of will break long before you receive any return on investment, also the mic way too sensitive, I could do absolutely nothing in the background without this picking it up.
This piece of overpriced trash broke on the adjustment rail; my crime? Putting on the headset, that's it, otherwise it sits in its own headset holder, I babied this. Not worth the $100 I paid.
So now I get the luxury of having a non adjustable headset that now hangs off my ear..
Oh my how thoroughly unenjoyable!
Pics for reference..

I would start first by saying this. I constantly skip this brand when it comes to gaming headset and always look for high-end pairs expecting/ assuming that I will get the premium build quality and the best sound and of course at big bucks. My first experience with Turtle Beach was a huge shift to my mindset regarding gaming products. Here are my takeaways from theses headset:
Pros: Lightweight with adjustable headband, ear cushions are comfortable, excellent quality as during my use of them never heard cracking or twisting, the connection is reliable, and set up with Xbox was straightforward just power the headset up and press the pairing button for 3 seconds, and then on the Xbox console press the pairing button until it blinks rapidly and LED turns solid and boom that is it. Charging sis USB-C which is convenient to declutter cables. The audio mode has three cycles;e to choose from ranging from signature sound (very clear) to Vocal boost. 2 wheels, one to adjust volume and the other one is to balance between chat and game audio. The speakers are 50mm generates high-quality sound surround audio (Windows Sonic) is the As far as battery goes, I have been gaming for 3 days about 4-5 hours so mine game me around 14 to 15 hours.
Pros: None as of yet.
Pricing: If I compare all of the features this headset offer with any other high-end ones I would say this is steal deal. Knowing that this headset is compatible with the upcoming Xbox series X.
Note: If you plan to use this headset on PC you need to buy Xbox wireless adaptor.

This headset is hands down the best headset I've owned. Ive owned several in the past but they have always been require to plug into either the controller, the console itself, or both. This is truly, 100% wireless. There isn’t even a USB stick to plug into the console. Turn on, hold the sync button on the headset and the console and that’s it… done. The experience and performance has been near flawless since opening. The sound quality is fantastic and the connection process is seamless. I honestly didn't have high expectations as this is the first of its kind (to my knowledge) but all in all it didn’t disappoint. I can hear my squad loud and clear, the mic is in a good position and it’s comfortable on my big head. All in all this product is amazing and I am completely satisfied!

We're sorry to hear about the inconvenience you've had! Please try out the following:
Press and hold down the Xbox Pairing Button + Mode Button on your headset for 20 seconds. This is a very long press, please make sure that you do not release it early, holding it down too long is better than too short.
This should hard reset the headset and may clear up what you are experiencing. After performing these steps, make an attempt at updating the headset via the Audio Hub for Windows or MacOS.
If you continue to have the same experience; please allow our Support Team to assist you with your Stealth 600 GEN 2 headset. We’re always happy to help, and we can be reached right from the support section of the Turtle Beach website as needed.

The plastic used to extend and retract the ears is very weak. This is my sons second set. The first set lasted him almost two years. Sounds great and is very comfortable. Better suited for smaller heads. The only difference and downside between this new one and the previous one we had was that this one has a dongle you connect to one of the Xbox’s USB ports and the previous one just connected directly to the Xbox like a wireless controller. My son’s Xbox has two USB ports which he uses to connect a mouse and key board, so if you use both USB ports on the Xbox for a mouse and keyboard or for an external hard drive, you won’t be able to connect the headset. The only way to go around this is by getting a USB 3.0 hub to add more USB ports, which is what we did. Regardless, this is a great headset, which my son loves.
