My wife and I game together, but with this headset she has to be at a minimum 20-30 feet from me for my own voice to not blare back in to my own ears. We have toyed with the idea of playing in different rooms but that defeats the idea of gaming together. We have three kids under 5 years old, so we need headsets to hear the game but then we can't hear each other unless we have mics. You see the conundrum. My HyperX headset has much better mic sensitivity. When she talks just 4-5 feet away, my mic doesn't pick it up and she doesn't speech jam herself. It's really a bummer, because the sound is otherwise great and the connectivity is a breeze. We've tried a pop filter cover, and tried connecting it to the computer but there's no mic sensitivity setting.

For the price it’s good. It’s reliable for the most part but the connectivity length from Xbox to headset is not very far (compared to other models) otherwise good. Battery life is more then reasonable.

Maybe i got a defective one but the gen 1 was much better

I have bought each of my kids these head sets for gaming. The surround sound is great. The controls are easy to use. In order to lite the mic is simple. The quality of the head set is worth the price. I would recommend the Turtle Beach head set Series to anyone.

Decent headset for an expensive price

I was able to fix this by factory resetting the headphones. Only needed to do this once so far. The other issue is that the microphone picks up every small sound, including me breathing.
