I have a 8 and 4 yr old who use these, we go through them about 2-4 times per year. It’s definitely good to be the $25 warranty so you can switch them out. You may also have trouble getting them to work right so people can hear you. That’s user error though, my husband eventually figured out you have to connect or register it some how in the game.

I am very pleased with my Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 2 gaming headset. They allow me to have a completely wireless gaming experience without having to sacrifice comfort or audio quality. The headphones are nicely padded and remain comfortable even when playing for hour after hour. They don’t interfere with your glasses or cause them to be pressed into the side of your head. On top of this, they offer clear sound for your game and chats without distortion, regardless of how loud you have them. Personally, I found the “Signature Sound” equalizer setting to be my go-to out of the four presets for most games. The flip-to-mute mic picks up my voice clearly without picking up any unwanted background noise. I appreciate that Turtle Beach designed it so that it folds into the headphone so that it is completely out of the way when you don’t need it. Battery life is impressive; I have only charged them once or twice despite playing for hours across multiple days. I am also grateful that they chose to use a USB Type-C charging port instead of Type-B. While there is an included cable, it’s nice to know that I can simply use the one for my phone if the need arises. Initial setup and pairing was super easy. I simply pressed the pairing buttons on the headset and my Xbox and within seconds it was ready to go. I like that there are separate dials for game and chat volumes. It made it easy to find the right balance for each game and allowed for quick adjustments on the fly without any hassle. Connectivity is excellent nearly all of the time with one exception. I noticed that when I raised the footrest on my recliner, the headsets would begin to cutout and stutter as if they had a poor connection, even though the headset was maybe six feet away from the Xbox. On the other hand, I have also been far enough away from my console that my controller disconnected and yet my headset remained connected with no audio issues. This is the only issue I encountered with them and is by no means a dealbreaker.
