The headphone jack ports on the controllers are notorious for wearing out thus causing hassles with wired headsets that can be annoying, wireless gets rid of that problem. Only thing is to make sure to update the firmware on the turtle beach website before using the product or else it will seem broken. I believe you can only do this on a pc computer as well but it takes 2 minutes and after you are good to go.

Better than previous model

They are much better than the previous model that these replaced. However, we’ve only had these for 3 months and my son takes very good care of his stuff, and today while putting them on, they broke. The piece that comes out when the headpiece expands just broke in two.
