I was waffling between several brands of headphones when upgrading, but knew I wanted to finally go wireless. These being designed to connect to Xbox like a controller without extra dongles seemed too good to be true. I thought about the Stealth 700s, but if you don't need the bluetooth these work just as well. Sound good, plenty of volume with separate controls for game & chat, adjustable talkback level so you can hear yourself, and comfortable and adjustable. I've even used them on my PC with the controller adapter and they sound good there too. Ultimately you may be considering these because they're priced a little less than most of the midrange wireless--but worry that you're skimping on features. These are more than good enough, and definitely designed right for the job.

I’ve had these a few months now and I love them. They’re pretty light and completely wireless. There are separate wheels on the left cup for game volume and chat volume. The mic flips up to mute. I get several hours out of them before needing to recharge.

Have had them for about a month and they work great. Good quality sound, very comfortable and light weight plus no issues with battery life. I play about 4 to 5 hours per day and charger every night. Wish I would have gotten them years ago.

Comfortable headset and quality sound, but you need to sit close to the Xbox or it will keep losing the connection and reconnecting minutes later. Also, if you are running wireless internet connection there can be a delay in audio into the game from the mic.

The sound quality with these headphones is incredible. I thought that the "super human hearing" was just a marketing gimmick, then I tried it out. WOW, its pretty amazing. I really like the different volume controls for the chat and game play. Really makes the online experience much better. I also love the feature of raising the mic to mute; very helpful!. The battery life is excellent. I know that I have gotten almost 20 hours of use from one charge, even though the packaging states 15. They also charge pretty fast. Some users have reported interference or static, but I have not experienced that at all, despite living in a large apartment building in an urban area. I highly recommend these.

Note that I don't have a computer to mess with any of the settings for this headset. Now with that said I still really like this headset for the price point. Before this I used the Rig800lx but they broke and we're not repairable. These turtle beaches are pretty comparable to those with only a couple minor setbacks. They are comfortable and the battery lasts a good amount I play 2-3 hrs every other day and only need to charge them once a week or so. I tend to have an issue with getting the voice and game chat mixed just right but maybe this easily corrected via the audio tool which again I can't access. Besides that I really like it and am satisfied with the replacement. Bonus if you intend on getting a Series X this holiday it's supposed to be compatible!

This is the wireless headset to go for! At the price of $100 you will get the same quality of headsets going for $120-$150. So why pay more? It sounds great and is true wireless, Bluetooth. The sound and chat are the same if not better than the model 700.

I haven’t had the headset for too long, but so far, so good. Good sound and mic quality, and it’s very comfortable and can be worn for long periods. The battery lasts about 15 hours, and takes between 3 and 4 hours to charge.

I've always had good surround sound equipment so I never felt a need for a headset. I was so wrong. The wireless is great and makes it so accessible. Very comfortable and the sound is amazing. I really should have bought these much sooner.

very comfortable, easy to connect, the battery lasts a long time, a very practical microphone. On the other hand, you cannot connect to any other device unless you have an adapter that is sold separately.

So while I do enjoy these headsets I do find myself annoyed with tiny features that just, overall has had me dock the stars.
Before I used this headset for my xbox I updated it and luckily it was already updated so yay. This headset is very comfortable, I wear glasses and one of the main reasons why I tried this headset is because it is glass friendly and it is! It's very soft and doesn't feel too cheap.
Battery lasts all day, on weekends I game from 8AM to sometimes 3AM, (this is not continuous, I usually take a couple hours of break so playtime with headset would probably around 8-9 hours.) I charge my headset every night.
So now I'll talk about the cons, everyday since I received this headset, at least every other hour or so the sound would distort only for a couple of seconds. It does this weird thing where the pitch of the sound goes down and then back up, you probably can't really tell playing games but when I listen to music while gaming I can hear it and its concerning. I've read about it on forums and this is something people have talked about, I haven't found a solution for it yet...
I have been told that when I play for long periods of time about 4-5 hours my mic just bugs out and every time I talk it's completely filled with static. I usually have to turn it off and back on and it'll be fine but for the most part this is really annoying.
I am slightly annoyed that even with the game volume all the way up I have so much trouble hearing in certain games. For example when I play Apex Legends I can barely hear anything, ambiance, music, the legends themselves. I HAVE to put it on super human hearing to amp it up, only then can I lower the volume so I can focus on the game and my teammates.
I am terrible at explaining things but I can tell you that super human hearing does not sound good at all. it feels like I'm listening to everything through a tin can, but at least I hear it...
I feel like this was a step backwards, I loved my 420X when I first bought it, I was even thinking of buying the same pair but I was feeling hopeful for this one. I am unfortunately passed the date to return so I'll stick with this until this one gives out. While its not all bad it could be so much better also. I'm guessing most of my problem could stem from it being wireless, I don't like wired but if it had a dongle like the 420 I wouldn't mind it, especially since it kept the sound consistent.

The way they did the mic on these is good, I don't have to plug it in or take it out and press a button to mute it, just move it up out of the way. Range is ok, I have had to re-sync them a couple of times. Sometimes they will go in and out. Sound quality is good, wish they were a little louder.
