Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Stealth 700 Wireless Surround Sound Gaming Headset. Many also praise its wireless functionality and generally good battery life, while some find the price reasonable for the features offered. However, a recurring concern involves inconsistent connection stability and lower-than-desired maximum volume levels.

Headphones are great. Nice clear sound. Has really clear lows and highs. I was actually impressed with the bass levels coming from these. Bluetooth works amazing. Sync's right up with my phone, touch the Bluetooth button to answer the call then again when done. Switches back to game mode quickly. Mic is muted to game chat when on a phone call if you are gaming at the same time. Charge will last me about a day as I do use these for work also. You can use these while they are charging as well. I've had to do that a couple times from long conference calls and forgetting to charge them up the night before.

Amazing wireless headset for Xbox One!

I've got both a PS4 and an Xbox One. I've always longed for a headset that stood alongside the Playstation Gold headset in terms of battery life, sound quality, and overall ease of connection and use. The gold headset has a simple USB dongle, turn on, and you're good to go with some great sound and voice quality. Everything I've owned on Xbox has been wired to the controller, and even had iffy connections because of those wires. Everything wireless I found required extra pieces and plug ins that I'm sure weren't too difficult to figure out, but I just wanted to power and go. Then comes along a sale on this headset. It wasn't anything revolutionary, just $20 off but enough to grab my eye. I realized it was the only headset that uses the actual wireless technology of the Xbox and that alone is worth the full cost. This thing connects like a controller, and even turns off when your system turns off (a huge battery saver as I'll sometimes forget). I did read reviews stating the importance of updating the headset on your computer, and did so immediately so I can't speak for quality without that update. However, a huge sticker on the box reminds you and the software is super easy to download and use. After that, I've got some amazing sound quality and my friends say I sound great! Best of all, I'm connected and talking in seconds vs plugging into all the ports, connecting pieces, etc. (first world problem, I know). With that said, if you're not looking for the most top notch $300+ headset with the best sound quality in the world, but one with good sound quality, ease of use, and some great battery life for a mid-range price (100-150), I can't recommend this headset enough.

Great wireless headset, you can really hear the bass boom on it. Sadly its not surround sound, but for a stereo headset its not bad.

These sound great. They are super comfortable. My friends tell me that the mic sounds great too. My only complaint about them is that sometimes they are a chore to connect or stay connected to my Xbox. I do have a Day One Xbox One, so that might have something to do with it. But other than that, they're wonderful.

Great sound and super comfy for those that wear glasses. I had some trepidation because of the wireless feature, because I had read reviews where folks were having some problems. I bought these because you can switch between your console or your PC. So far no worries!

Great headphones. After a little work around(plus I don’t know how to edit my last review), the latency issue and disconnection were caused by various factors. One was the interference with the router, had to switch off 2.5 frequency of my router(due to the headphones ability to run in 2.5 and 5). Second was upgrade my Xbox one to Xbox one S knowing that the S has better controller connection, so I figured that it would help too. They also sound great with Dolby atmos. Pros: confortable, wireless, sound Cons: if router is to close will need to be thinker with. And in my opinion not meant for the original Xbox one.

Got these for my boyfriend after our puppy chewed up his other ones, so the fact that they're wireless is a bonus. He loves them! Says the sound is great (volume wise) and clear. I like them too, again because of the sound (you literally can't hear anything outside of what's on your screen), plus they're really comfortable.

Got this headset 3 weeks ago and I currently use it for FPS games. (BF and COD). The leather earmuffs are comfortable. They cup my ears very well. The headset adjusts to my size head with ease. The sound quality is amazing. I can hear pebbles falling off a destroyed building so clear, it surprised me when I first heard it. The battery life is good. It does take a while to actually get them charged up 100%. I wish the headset would warn you when you’re battery life is down to 20%. Like a warning system that battery life is near its end. But nope. It does say hours of usage, but if you’re like me.. I just charge after every use. The headset does have a short distance to be able to walk away from the console. Starts to cut out if I go into another room and away from the console. So you have to be in the same room for best quality sound. Overall, I give this product a 5 stars. Because even though I wish it had an extra perks. The headset itself is amazing. I would recommend this to a friend. Easy set up. Plug and play.

I didn’t realize that having a gaming headset with zero wires would be so liberating. Not my first Turtle Beach gaming headphones, but loosing the wire between the headphones and the controller has been great. They are comfortable even during long gaming sessions and they don’t make my ears feel hot and sweaty. The battery life is good and as advertised and they recharge when plugged in to my Xbox One X in a reasonable amount of time. The sound is very good. The only down side is that the folks I’m gaming with say my mic volume is very low and there is no way to adjust that. Otherwise, very happy with my purchase. Cheers!

NOTE: I am returning these headsets due to lack of comfort. Overall SOUND QUALITY was good. Isolating sounds while using Window Sonic was good. Bass was full, although I did notice some slight crackling at the higher treble ends. Super hearing sound mode is nothing impressive. EQ presets Signature and Bass and Treble boost were the best settings. FEATURES and CONNECTIVITY: Updated the firmware on my laptop. The Turtle beach audio hub was easy to use. The ease of syncing these headphones to the Xbox was great! Did not have any disconnects. Active noise cancelling DOES NOTHING!. Bluetooth connectivity is nice for music. These do play music good. Also, the Bluetooth with the Mobile app is a nice feature. Allows you to customize the settings on the headset without having to connect back to the PC. I will say it took a couple try’s to get the app and the headset to sync. Kept seeing “Getting Firmware Version” for like long periods of time. The microphone from what my friend sounded good. I don’t have a lot of background noise in my house anyways other than dogs and a 4 year old lol. POOR COMFORT!!! Ok this was the deal breaker for me. My ears were sweaty and hot after having these on for like 20 mins. I’ve had the Turtle Beach 400xp that had a decent mesh material that did not do this. The fake leather they use for a $150 headset is mind boggling. I honestly think they should’ve used the mesh or a better material instead of the fake leather. Lots of pressure on top of my head as well. I had a headache after only a hour into play. So unfortunately these are getting returned and I have the Steelseries 9x on the way today. If those don’t work out I will look into the Lucid LS35x.

I had the 800X which are longer made (and miss them). I bought Astro a50s in the meantime. They sounded great but it ended there. Returned them for these 700s and am very happy. Sound will not knock you out of your chair but also has little distortion. Noise isolation is very good. The microphone does pick up some ambient background noise. Bluetooth is a big plus. Overall these are a place holder until I can find something just a little better. For the price tag you can't go wrong though. $150 I believe is the normal these were purchased on sale for $120.

Got these for my 10 years old son to play Xbox live to keep in touch with his friends, since they can't meet in person. The quality is a 8. The noise canceling works almost to good where he can't here me calling him. Blue tooth work great.I thought i had to update these online but they were good to go. You must download the turtle beach app to adjust the settings.I did buy the extended warranty since we will be home for awhile. All in all it's a good buy. I'm happy that he has some distractions from the stay at home order.

I bought this to replace the cheap one that came with my Xbox. The quality of sound and communication is fantastic. Only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is because the range seems a bit weak to me. I can’t lay back on my bed and maintain a solid Bluetooth connection.

After spending a good deal of gaming time with the headset i can now say that I fully recommend the Stealth 700. The headset is comfortable for the most part, the ear pads are comfortable and well insulated and offer a noise canceling effect. the drawback to this is the lack of breathability for your ears. at the end of a game, I find myself taking them off to give my ears fresh air. The sound quality is top notch, the blutooth connectivity is good, the battery life is ok, the recharge time is very good, and its ease of use is great. It has all the bells and whistles and the build quality to back it, the price point I wish was a little lower. When you bring them home IT IS PARAMOUNT TO UPDATE FIRMWARE AND FOLLOW THE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS :)

Got this on a holiday sale. Which I recommend getting at. The sound is good. The build quality is better than the 600s but that isnt saying much. 150 bucks for a frame that's made entirely of plastic is overkill. If you have a small head it should be good but the more you extend the headset the more it feels like its gonna snap. Plastic doesnt feel very tough. I'm careful when I put them on/off. Battery life is good. Wireless directly to xbox is also nice. 3.75 out of 5 due to the cheap feeling parts.
