Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Stealth 700 Wireless Surround Sound Gaming Headset. Many also praise its wireless functionality and generally good battery life, while some find the price reasonable for the features offered. However, a recurring concern involves inconsistent connection stability and lower-than-desired maximum volume levels.

The mic keeps disconnecting even after i updated the firmware. Didn’t want to believe the other reviews addressing this issue, but it turned out to be true. I expected waaaay more out of TB especially since it costs $150. Needless to say I returned it.

They really suck. Constantly loses connection with the game console and I hear nothing. Then it comes in and out and it just totally messes you up and gives you a headache. I would never recommend this to anyone

I have had these for only six months and they are already broken. The issue isn't physical damage, but the internal electronic inside the headset. It won't accept a firmware update, it won't stay on, and their tech support has been awful. It's been two weeks and I still haven't been able to get them to provide me with an RMA number to have the headset repaired or replaced. Despite going into excruciating details on everything I have done, they are still asking me to redo everything. And every email to them takes almost a week to get a response. Horrible product.

Great for gaming and cell phone use. I was happy with the headset until it fell apart in my hands. Plastic made quality was ok definitely not the best careful how you handle these. Otherwise good for gaming

This is my 3rd pair of turtle beaches. It will most certainly be my last. The first pair for horrible static after about a year so I returned and exchange after paying my $30 fee to get new ones. Then the 2nd pair stop turning on after 6 months or so. SO again paid my $30 fee and got another pair. This time I exceed no warranty thinking I would get a new pair this year for Xmas lol well literally a day after a month of purchasing they stopped holding a charge again. Of course can’t return so googles if there was a fix. Not only is there no fix but it is a super common problem with these headsets. And turtle beach takes an estimated 60 DAYS to replace?!?!?! Avoid these at all cost.

Exact average quality for a product in the upper price point. Cannot charge when trying to use them, aux input hasn't worked out the box. Just an overall terrible product, will be getting something else for sure.

Nice headset, not the best battery life that gets noticeably worse within a few months. Some games are easier to hear than others but overall it is an okay headset for the price.

The only good feature about these is that you can Bluetooth to other devices. You can’t wear them for more than 30 minutes or your ears will want to jump off your head.

for being made to connect directly to the xbox, it does an awful job of doing so. Even when it is going well, it will drop and reconnect several times. Reconnecting/resetting does not work one bit. Not remotely worth the price.

Have had this headset for a while and should have taken it back. The sound quality is somewhat muffled and sounds like mono audio on Xbox. I do like that I can hear the game and chat but since it doesn’t sound that great hearing enemy footsteps is difficult at times and can cause you to lose games. I also have a Plantronics Rig800lx and I do recommend that headset over this one any day of the week, no comparison. The battery life also sucks with the stealth 700 and if using the Xbox to charge don’t plan on using it because it doesn’t charge fully. I’m lucky to get an hour out of it unless it’s plugged into the wall.

I wished this headset was as great as most reviews here, but it has not functioned properly from the beginning. I frequently have the audio drop out for a second at a time, and even randomly disconnecting from the Xbox. The pitch of any music in the background is constantly shifting, and explosions or gunshots always sound out of phase. If I could get past that, I would still be returning it because the headset is terribly uncomfortable. The band digs into your head and is uncomfortable after a short amount of time, and the ear cups don’t quite sit right over my ears.
