Customers appreciate the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Stealth 700 Wireless Surround Sound Gaming Headset. Many also praise its wireless functionality and generally good battery life, while some find the price reasonable for the features offered. However, a recurring concern involves inconsistent connection stability and lower-than-desired maximum volume levels.

I only gave 2 stars because they keep cutting out. Turtle beaches have really went down hill. I replaced my 600s with the 700s. hoping for better. I gave them away to use my old Afterglows.

Such high hopes for these. Waited for months for them to come out. Out of the box, frequent disconnects that result in having to repeatedly turn headset on and off and leave-join party. Also, the random buzzing in the left speaker. Even after the recent firmware update, testing on 2 different consoles, changing my router's wifi channnel, and even trying to change rooms so that I was on the opposite corner of the house from my router, I could not play more than 5 minutes without having a disconnect.

Bought these to replace wired Turtle Beach headphones. Wore for about an hour and hurt my ears as padding not very soft. Returned for different brand, much more comfortable.

Very unsatisfied with my purchase. It came three weeks late and was a birthday gift for my daughter. I had paid extra money to have the item shipped earlier, which did not happen. Then when we finally received the headphones they were used! The box was taped shut and one of the headphones actually had electrical wrapped around it! Also you could tell that the foam rubber around the headphones was very worn. We returned headphones to our local Best Buy.

Had these for less than 24 hours before returning.
First the ear pads were firm and over a couple hours started to hurt. Over time maybe the foam will break in and work better.
Second I had major connection issues. Check for firmware updates and settings. Had a terrible time of them cutting out and even turning off. My controller that uses the same connection type had 0 issue.
Lastly the buttons on the side were hard to quickly tell the difference between them.

The build quality of this product is very weak. Repeated use places stress on the plastic which eventually breaks from normal use. I have had this headset three times. It also is highly susceptible to electromagnetic interference from radio sources, and/or Bluetooth interference. The sound will cut in and out repeatedly. So make sure you turn off other nearby devices, and change the radio frequency of your wifi to a higher setting.

Buy a warranty if you buy these!
I have had 2 sets of turtle beach 700s returned, both headsets the
batteries took a dive and would not recharge or reflash. One set died after a year and the other after a month!!!! I bought my son the 600 model and the plastic broke.
The quality of the earmuff is hard.
Sound was great while it lasted but had to switch to another brand due to so many issue and bad support.

Playing with my Xbox onex, connects really easy but once it connects that is when the problems start. The audio constantly fizzes out all the time similar to walking away from your Bluetooth source. All the while I was sitting about 6 feet away from my console. And this issue is persistent tried various things the only time it works properly is when you fully charge the headset and run it for the first time. After that all you are in for is a treat of poor quality audio.

I just purchased this headset as my first for my xbox one. I've never had one but I consider myself an audiophile so I'm a pretty tough judge. I did my research and watched plenty of reviews. my ulitmate decision was between this set, the SteelSeries Arctis 5, and I wanted to try on the budget friendly Plantronics 400hx.
The plantronics was the cheapest feeling headset/set of headphones I've ever picked up. I didnt even test out the sound because they felt so cheap. And the adjustments on the sides were the oddest set up I've ever seen. It has notches. They were the least expensive set I was considering.
The SteelSeries was not available at my bestbuy so I tested out the Turtle beach 600 and 700 series. I did not want to spend more than $100.
The 600 did not have any leather element to it, which I feel is important to get a good rich sound. So I went with the 700 and I have not been disappointed yet.
Pros-
Sound quality is impeccable. I mostly play first person shooter games and I hear every blade of grass moving.
Customization- there is an app that needs to be downloaded to adjust all of your specific sound settings. There are also two volume wheels on the left earpiece, one for chat and one for game sound.
Weight- super light weight on my head. does not weigh down my ears.
Price-for the price i feel like it is definiely a good deal. I got them on sale for $120, $30 less than their regular price. Though I still think they are a great deal at $150
Bluetooth or Wired- has the option to do both. connects very quickly just like a controller.
Microphone- not awkwardly long. to mute, just flip the piece back.
Cons-
Head piece- the band that goes over my head was beginning to make the top of my head sore after about 2 hours of gaming. It might just need to be broken in a bit.
So far this is the only con. will update if i find anything else.
I did see some poor feedback when they first came out, but it seems that Turtle Beach has fixed those bugs with their updates.
Great buy!!
