Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Stealth 700 Wireless Surround Sound Gaming Headset. Many also praise its wireless functionality and generally good battery life, while some find the price reasonable for the features offered. However, a recurring concern involves inconsistent connection stability and lower-than-desired maximum volume levels.

garbage returned within 7 days! had almost no volume and when i looked online it said you had to do an update (which i did) but it didn't help. on top of that the "ACTIVE NOISE CANCELING" feature only seemed to work in 1 ear. I had the elite 800x's before these (my son broke them) and this was the best Wireless Turtle beach product that best buy carries. so i made the switch to the astro a50's.

My teenage son is an avid gamer who has wanted a Turtle Beach gaming headset for a long time and just received the Stealth 700. He loves it: it's wireless, it has noise cancelling technology (so he can tune me out!), connects to his phone's Bluetooth, and is lightweight and comfortable. He is recommending it to all his friends, so I am recommending it to you!

When it works, it works well and has some nice features. Unfortunately, it likes to disconnect frequently from the Xbox, and when it reconnects, you have to exit the party and reenter for chat to work. I thought they fixed it with the 9/14 firmware update but after initially seeming to work, it started disconnecting again. This is going back.

    Excellent after Firmware Update

I tried these and the Astro A20 side by side for a week. Both have excellent sound but what sold me on these TBs was the built-in wireless connection specifically for xbox (aka no adapter needed), bluetooth, and comfort. I prefer the leather ear pads to the foam on the A20s (which was a bit itchy to me). My tv is roughly 12 feet from my chair so using a wired connection to the tv or the controller is just a hassle. I prefer wireless. The range on these is amazing to me and definitely improved after a firmware update. I previously used the TB 420x+ which had great range too but this set is better. I can go up to my 2nd floor with these on and stay connected. PROS: - separate volume controls for game sound and chat. - no adapter - connects wirelessly to the xbox like your controller does - flip-up mic mute (simply flip the mic up to mute game chat) - bluetooth - absolutely fantastic sound (especially when enabling Dolby Atmos on the xbox) CONS: - the leather on the ear pads isn't perforated so it doesn't breathe well (meaning your ears will get a little sweaty) - TB has taken the preset audio modes out of the buttons and forced the user to change them via a setting in the software you use to update the firmware. I am not a fan of this approach. The 420X+ had the ability to cycle through these modes by simply pressing a button. - rubberized buttons feel cheap on the headset and are difficult to locate at times

Save your money and buy a better headset the mic is always iffy my friends cant hear me in game chat or party chat and the headset doesn't have a good battery life. If you need to charge it while you play it always shuts off the game sound I would not recommend this headset to anyone.

Terrible headset. Second pair in less than a year. They broke 3 weeks after warranty. No replacement available. Bought a new pair at $170 and the new pair broke in less than 30 days. Very poor experience and support. Would not recommend these for the money you pay.

    I dig the Stealth 700

I could say that the sound quality (which is amazing) is my favorite aspect of the Stealth 700, but I won’t. These are, after all, top-shelf gaming headphones – so stellar sound quality is to be expected. Though I do have to highlight my immense appreciation of the audio nuances in-game, like hearing the rich detail of footsteps complete with such fantastic directional accuracy thanks to the surround sound. What is my favorite aspect? The ease of use. These are genuinely a no-hassle setup, connecting to your Xbox One as easily as your controller does. Equally easily, I connected them to my phone while I write this to listen to the booming thrum of the Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack. Excellent testing choice, if I do say so myself. Combine the digital ease with the physical comfort – these are pleasantly lightweight, modern design with clean lines and comfy faux-leather cups – and you have quite the awesome and neat little package. I dig the Stealth 700.

Idk if I set it up wrong or if I just got a bad pair of headphones but the sound quality of my games was absolutely horrible.I couldn’t hear anything except background noise, no footsteps, no doors opening all I could hear was gunshots across the map.

I have always been a fan of Turtlebeach but lately their quality has gone down hill. They felt cheap and every time I took them off I felt like I was going to break them. After two days of use they made this awful static noise that annoyed all of my friends in party. Save your money and get something else.
