Customers appreciate the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Stealth 700 Wireless Surround Sound Gaming Headset. Many also praise its wireless functionality and generally good battery life, while some find the price reasonable for the features offered. However, a recurring concern involves inconsistent connection stability and lower-than-desired maximum volume levels.

Xbox Apex Legends/FN player 1 Year of use REVIEW

I've been using this headset for one year everyday mostly. I bought alot of lower end headsets and then finally settled on this one. I see alot of people complain about max sound and initially i did too because i was used to lower end models where the sound was overly loud. Sound on this headset is perfectly fine.
The problem with this headset is that every now and then people in your party will tell you that sound like a robot. You have to then power down your headset and then power it up, its very annoying because it can happen multiple times in one gaming session and you wont be able to hear for a minute while your doing this.
I love the bluetooth option, its nice to play music on low, talk to people in chat and still hear footsteps around you! I can also charge my headset while using it which is very important.
I play Apex Legends and one thing i praise this headset for is I NEVER had the sound glitch where people cant hear things clearly when they land. I've never experienced this, i thought it was because my headset is wireless but someone i know with Stealth 600s experience the glitch from time to time so I dont know why this headsets shields me from that problem.
I love the headset but the robotic problem when i talk is why i plan on taking them back. Its funny because anytime i hear people sounding like a robot in my party i automatically know they either have a pair of these or the stealth 600s. I wish Turtle Beach would come out with a Stealth 800 and fix this dam problem because without that issue these dam headphones are perfect. Please keep in mind when reading this review that these were the most expensive headsets i ever used, never bought a ridiculously priced 300 headset so i cant compare it to those. I did purchase all the lower priced turtle beaches before buying this one.

Got this one as replacement for a faulty Plantronics RIG 800LX, which got raved reviews and so hyped. However, the RIG did not work well in my complicated RF/WIFI situation which I had to put my xbox by the side of router. It caused terrible drops which rendered the headset useless in my case. Plus the hyped Dolby Atmos is not exclusive to the headset, it is a software that you can buy and used in any headset. OK, back to this one, first of all, it is REAL wireless for xbox one using their encrypted bluetooth called xbox wireless. It uses BT protocol instead of the wifi or other RF bands, so in my case not experiencing interferences or drops like the Plantronics (using wifi transmition via a dongle you need to plug into xbox). It connects like your xbox wireless controller, so no dongle needed, also can be used to power on your xbox. It connects to your laptop or smartphone/tablet via a separate BT chip (you actually see two bt macs for this one devices when you trying to connect to smartphone, use the one with headset symbols) like a regular BT headset. The noise cancelling is a joke, but other than that ,I think sound quality is good. This definitely is better than 3.9/5 rating shown here. A lot of the bad reviews came from early buyers who got all sorts of problems, and ended up returning the device (no follow up or update). I think their effort to make it work (and it did improve) is worth praising.
