Performance The Stealth 700 headphones provide impeccable surround sound, active noise cancellation, and superhuman hearing mode to make the Xbox gaming experience better and more immersive than ever before. The surround sound that the headset provides has allowed me to become part of every game’s environment, unlocking a breathtaking new perspective. If that isn’t enough, the noise cancellation and the superhuman hearing mode allow for complete concentration on even the smallest of sounds in the game. This headset literally is a game changer! Comfort Comfort can be one of the most important factors for many gamers looking for a new gaming headset, as many gamers are going to be wearing them for long intervals of time. Overall, the Stealth 700 headset is comfortable and can be worn for hours on end without discomfort. A unique feature that I personally enjoy the most is the dual foam ear cushions. With this feature, there is soft foam in the area of the ear cushion that a pair of glasses would make contact with. As a person with glasses, I can usually not wear headphones for too long because of the stress it puts on my head. I can say, without doubt, that I have never felt more comfortable with a pair of headphones on than I do with my stealth 700 headphones. Convenience Not only does the headset connect wirelessly to the Xbox gaming console, but it can also connect simultaneously to a Bluetooth device. I most commonly use my smartphone to listen to music while playing a game that does not require much sound, such as racing games. Furthermore, with the Stealth 700 headphones I have never missed a call while gaming because the headset has alerted me when I have had an incoming call. Cost Effectiveness The headset costs about $150 which, considering all of its features and quality, is not too high of a price to pay for a high-end gaming headset. There are definitely cheaper options on the market, such as the Stealth 600 headset ($80) or Xbox One Stereo headset ($60), but the quality and number of features with those would just not be on the same level as the Stealth 700 headset. Ideal User The Stealth 700 headset is a product that is specifically made for serious Xbox gamers who would like to take their gaming skills to the next level. If this description fits you, then these headphones are definitely worth the purchase. You will not be disappointed!

This headset is poorly manufactured. Cheap plastic and the sound quality sucks.

Microphone doesn't work. Too hot to wear in summer

These lasted me 4 years. Time to upgrade. Battery life was great. Sound was great.

First, do NOT purchase if you have a router using 2.4Ghz and/or 5Ghz bands near your xbox and headset. If you do purchase update the firmware. XBOX: Routers using those bands have caused issues with my connection and others (see other negative reviews) and will cause headset drops and loss of connection. I was lucky that my router was just a satellite and only a nice to have so I was able to unplug and use the headset as intended. The microphone is very sensitive and I did annoy some friends when eating ice cream. Sound on Destiny 2 for example was quite good. If you read this Turtle Beach, Please fix router issues. Bluetooth: I am not having any issues connecting to my PC using bluetooth including headset functionality. App Support: I do not have an IPhone or Android phone so I am unsure how the app works with the headphones. Sound and Comfort: I am quite happy with the sound quality and comfort. I suggest listening to the dolby access headphones videos to see what we should expect when more games start to use dolby atmos in the future. I was happy with the sound produced from the headset when dolby wants to show off.

I started playing Fortnite a month ago. I first bought Afterglow 3s....then returned and bought 30 dollar TB(cant remember name) I then returned and bought xo three which is a cool little headset but i knew i needed something better. I returned and bout xo 4s which is basically the same as three. I then bout Stealth 600 which was a ok headset. All the headsets let me hear footsteps but the 600s let me know exactly where someone was. Example: On Fortnite if im in Titled in Umbrella building on middle floor. I knew if someone was upstairs or downstairs. The other headsets let me hear someone on a different floor but i never knew if they were up or down. Although the 600s was ok , i knew i needed a headset with better sound. It was gonna be either the Razer ManOWar headset or the Stealth 700s. I decided last minute to go with these. I am so glad i did. First thing i did was update firmware(very important). The sound is rich and the fact that i can connect with my Mac computer to listen to music blew me away!!!!! I listen to the music on a low level and can still talk on mic and hear footsteps!!!! Some say you cant charge and play at the same time but thats a lie!!! TB doesn't provide a long micro usb but if u pick one up you can def charge and play at the same time. I was buying and returning headsets all month but i knew right away that i wasnt taking these back at all! I will update my review in 6 months- a year if i can but i love these. With a protection plan from best buy im even more confident in my purchase. Only con i ran accross is my Iphone 6+ not letting me pair with the headset. But that might be because i dont update my ios lol. Im fine with it being connected to my mac mini.

As a parent with two little ones, I do most of my gaming late at night. This helps keep things quiet while I do! My first truly wireless gaming headset, Stealth 700 connects effortlessly to the Xbox One family of consoles - just like the controllers do. No USB dongle or any additional gadgets - just pure wireless (it works with some Windows 10 PCs as well). The Turtle Beach mantra is "Hear Everything, Defeat Everyone," and that can be the case here. The "Superhuman Hearing" feature balances things out, making online multiplayer particularly exhilarating. All the little details can be heard, which means it can be easier to hear people creeping up on you. Acitve Noise Cancelling technology helps eliminate background distractions, while the price point (under $150!) brings premium sound into a a much more affordable range when compared to previous headphone releases. The surround sound also makes movies sound great, and since you can also use these with your phone or tablet via Bluetooth, that opens up the possibilities for even more portable entertainment options with BIG sound. I dig it.

Honestly if these didnt have the “super human sound” feature they would be basic. Noise cancellation is average. I can still hear people talking in the background. (Super human sound helps with this). Ive had these for about 3 months now and they do disconnect at short distances. (I.e. walking away from xbox to restroom). I have to turn off the headset and turn it back on when i get back. Theyre loud enough. Dont know why anyone would want to go def for video games. Unless youre a pro and get paid for gaming. Theyre loud enough. Lower your chat volume to hear the game more.

Wow! I couldn't believe the sound that came out of these! Could hear no background noise, just all gaming with terrific stereo details! Incredibly crisp calls and music for this headset, too. I love that it works just like an Xbox controller and connects without wires or adapters. We're huge Turtle Beach fans, but these are the best we've ever had!

If you are a gamer that moves around a lot and doesn't want to be attached to cords this is the perfect headset for you! The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 are comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. They fit nicely over glasses and do not cause your glasses to move around a lot. I found them really easy to wear and fun to play games with.

You must update to the latest firmware: ***NEW FIRMWARE UPDATE AVAILABLE - VERSION 2.1.1 - SEPT. 13, 2017*** This seems to have corrected the issues I had out of the box: 1. Audio/bluetooth disconnecting 2. Xbox audio cutting out, microphone intermittent drops. I did not experience "buzzing" as others have mentioned, so I don't know if that has been corrected. They are not as comfortable as my Elite Plus Tournament headphones, and while the sound is good, it's not up to the same standard as the Elite Plus. What I love about these is I am free from cords.. Windows Sonic (simulated surround sound) works well, though it may not be up to par with DTS, but Dolby Atmos (30 day free trial, $15 to purchase) is exceptional. If you get this headset (or already have it), definitely install Atmos and the demos. Mic quality is good, and the active noise cancellation is a plus. I'm not sure of the construction quality -- lots of plastic. Even though in general I don't purchase extended warranties, it may be a good idea to get the optional Best Buy warranty with it just in case. I had the Stealth 500x wireless headset and while the electronics were fine, the headband eventually broke. Turtle Beach should not have released these when they did; the product wasn't ready and it makes Turtle Beach look bad, but the firmware update seems to have corrected the problem out of the box.

There are many features on these headphones that make them great for teens, including a nice price tag of $150. They have an active Noise-Cancellation feature that allows you to listen better when you have a fan, voices, or other background noise near you so you can focus more on the game. The cushion surround on the headphones is super comfortable and our son found that he could wear them for much longer periods of time before needing a breather. (As a parent – let me quantify that “much longer periods of time” is measured in two hours blocks. He can wear them ALL day without issue.)

I waited a while to purchase this as I heard there were many issues with it staying connected. Turtle Beach recently released firmware update that seems to have fixed these issues. The range isn't the best going through walls, but as long as your in the same room as your xbox and have the latest firmware it seems to work flawlessly. Having a completely wireless headset for xbox one is fantastic, plus the bonus with these of being able to input bluetooth audio while playing xbox.

I originally had the connection issues. Turtle beach put out an update last week for it that solved my connection issues. My headset hasn't dropped at all since the update. Sound is great, very comfortable. with the new update i would recommend this

Not worth $150. I don't hear any static or noise from the headphones like others say they do. The sound with Dolby atmos is the way to go with these other wise you'll get the same sound on a set of $10 headphones. Comfortable I play about 7-10 hours a day (I know no life) and they feel good around the ears. Battery life is ok 5 hours or so. The sound could go louder and have more bass (unless i got it hooked up wrong)which is why it got 4 stars.
