The agents performed their duties in excellent way. They brought in their equipments and did calibration according to my needs. However, the length of waiting time and on top other agents having no equipments to perform calibration on scheduled time is bit frustrating. All agents should have access to tv calibration equipments without any reason and perform tv calibration at assigned day and time.

The agent did a great job calibrating the TV and for $50 if you're a TTS member its a screaming deal (considering for example if you have an LG OLED, the Calman Home for LG program is $150 and another $169 for the cheapest meter)! However, they currently don't have the equipment to calibrate the HDR/DV modes for your TV which is a bit of a bummer.

I've had geek squad calibrate my 55" $5000 dollar Samsung uhd and a $5500 65" sony oled (years apart). Both the highest end tv possible at the time, got the tvs calibrated and the picture just got better and better. they looked amazing out of the box, and just breath taking after calibration. the colors look more realistic. if you don't have cash to burn, get a good valued tv with good technology (i.e.,backlight, FALD, whatever) and get the tv calibrated. don't spring extra money for the "better" upscaler or color processor. calibrate your basic decent tv and bask in its glory.

It was done timely and tech was very friendly. However he said that he would send the findings with the settings that were original and then the changes made so we would have for future adjustments. I would like the document we were told he would send.

I went back and forth with having a calibration performed on an LG C9 given that I have heard various definition of what is considered a "calibration". After speaking with someone in store who knows the calibration expert at my Bestbuy location and learning that he was indeed certified, I decided to give it a shot. The guy was very friendly and after seeing the difference the calibration made all I can say is WOW. The difference was absolutely huge, especially on Dolby vision content. The colors were even more vibrant and made an amazing tv even better. TL;DR Absolutely would recommend. Made an amazing TV even better.

I would highly recommend getting a TV Calibration for any new purchase. My Sony 4K had a beautiful picture out of the box, but that was only the beginning. My Geek tech hooked up his equipment and went to work calibrating the color settings and explained everything he was doing and showing me different set points to my liking and room lighting. Well worth the time and price. The Geek Squad technician impressed me with the knowledge he demonstrated and picture quality of my TV.

I've always wanted a calibration done on one of my TVs. I have them come out but it wasn't done right so they came back with another crew to do it again. This time it took so long because they they needed a to do a software update before they could begin. I can honestly say in the end it was a complete wast of time and money. I'm convinced that no one in Best Buy knows what they are doing. I've since reset all my settings and I'm going to get someone outside of Best Buy to do it. Of course I've sent in these statements before and I'm sure no one will respond like always.

After spending a couple grand on my new LG E8 65” OLED tv, I really couldn’t see spending another couple hundred dollars for a professional calibration and didn’t think it could possibly be that big of a difference in the picture quality. Steve is the tech that came by and he was friendly and informative about what he was doing and even asked several preferences about how I like to watch my movies and where I usually am sitting in the room. I just got to say; if you spend $2,000 on a tv. Another couple hundred for the calibration should be a no brainer. There’s that big a difference. Thanks to the sales member for convincing me to get it done.

For those who like a very life like picture this service will optimize your picture to be very life like. after seeing the difference in the picture I had been watching I chose not to have it done, I liked the more dramatic colors I was already getting over the more real life picture offered by this being done. Its all personal preference so I recommend you seeing for yourself

TV Calibration was much needed for the Vizio TV I purchased. I spent a pretty penny on the set and some of the colors seemed a little too intense and I knew they needed to be fine tuned. I didn't realize Geek Squad offered the service but by being a Total Tech member it only cost me $50 to have the agent show up and tweak the settings with his software and within a little over an hour you could see how dialed in everything was. Highly Recommend the service if you truly enjoy watching anything on the tube the way it's intended to be seen.

Process was easy to schedule. local Geek Squad technician was prompt and quickly performed the necessary setup. He confirmed the setup and was patient to let me go through several channels to test the final settings on live media. Process did not take as long as expected and technician was in and done in about 25 min.

Eric did an outstanding job of calibrating our new LG C9 77" OLED TV. We have enjoyed a LOT of viewing with Covid-19 going on and since he did his magic it has become a real pleasure to watch! Our room can be bright or we have room blackening blinds. It works great either way. The detail is awesome and pure natural skin tones dazzle us. Have a lot to learn about everything this "Home Theater" can do along with our Klipsch/Denon Sound System. The LG CX is the next step up from the C9 and I would not hesitate to go up to the largest OLED I could afford.

The Geek Squad techs came to the house with their special equipment (sensor, laptop, software) to tweak the color settings on the TV. They thoroughly explained what they were doing, and showed me the differences on their software. After they left, I can tell a difference in skin tones and other images that look more natural. I would recommend this service if you purchased a high-quality expensive TV in order to get the most out of it.

TV calibration is a MUST. If you want your TV to have the best picture and sound, you must pay for TV calibration. The expertise that is required to make adjustments to all the TV settings is very complex. The TV calibration experts take into consideration the size of the room the color of the walls, color of the carpet, the amount of light entering the room. The difference in picture and sound quality is amazing once the calibration is complete.

It took a little bit of effort to arrange a Calibration for my Sony Master Series 65" OLED. It was more than worth it. The technician came out, set up a bunch of equipment and spent about an hour calibrating and adjusting all of my color settings. I thought I had a nice picture out of the box. The technician showed me some things with the picture and colors that were less then ideal that only a trained eye would see. When he left the colors and skin tones were amazing, night and day difference. A nice OLED will benefit greatly from a calibration. Recommended.

I just purchased this new 65" Sony UHD 4K TV and didn't even know a calibration would be needed, but when the guy came over and showed me everything he was doing, I could see the difference and realize it was something you definitely need to have done. The good news is I got it for a lot less than usual because I have the Total Tech Support Package, which I would highly recommend to anyone as you get their assistance for any product you have whether it was bought from Best Buy or not.

Art did a fantastic job on my Samsung 7000 series TV. After the calibration all of the colors are much more natural and the brightness and contrast are perfect for the room. We enjoyed the television before the calibration but it is so much better after. We’ve noticed a difference in movies and network TV, and sporting events are incredibly realistic. I’d highly recommend the service on any larger screen.

Greg was on-time, respectful of my home space by using the over-shoe protectors, asked good diagnostic questions (e.g., viewing conditions), collected data from a scanner device he placed on my TV screen, and made adjustments to my settings to ensure optimal viewing outcomes. His efficient actions kept us within our scheduled appointment time. I thought I could see a discernible improvement in my picture quality. I also have the peace of mind knowing that my screen is not set too bright, which would likely lead to premature failure.

Kyle did a super job calibrating our TV. He spent quality time here working his magic making the picture better than I thought I could imagine. He shared several graphs showing how much my TV was out of alignment. Kyle also answered a few of my technical questions about my home which was greatly appreciate. It is a pleasure being a Geek Squad customer.

I had my 2020 LG CX 77" calibrated by Craig from the Geek Squad. He did an outstanding job, color perfection. I offhandedly mentioned to Best Buy that I would appreciate it if he could take a moment to double check my AV rig. Wow. He came at it from a totally different perspective than the internet "experts" and it sounds way better. Why/how? Simple, he was intimately familiar with my brand of AVR and speakers(and sub) which allowed him to design the perfect sound cocktail. Award wining!
