    I have a tv that I purchased a couple years ago and when they calibrated the tv it was totally impressive how the picture quality had changed. this service also helps with the tv lasting longer because the tv comes from the factory with it set to maximum on everything and they tone it down which will help with the LED's lasting

    the calibration was very disappointing. the picture is not as sharp as it was . the color is more true to life but the clarity is gone . picture no longer well defined. it also seems to be losing its brightness. a picture of a sunny day looks cloudy to us.

    Glad I had my TV calibrated! I never knew the difference until after they were done. It’s night and day!!! Though now it’s tough for me to look at a tv that isn’t calibrated.

    Go to the internet and get the calibration numbers there, and avoid having this costly procedure done.

    I doubted the calibration on my new Q7 Samsung would make a noticeable difference in what was already a great picture. I was wrong! The calibration made a great picture even better. The colors are fantastic but the real difference was in the blacks and grays. Will calibrate future TVs!

    Expected Me to Wait 6 Weeks for Service

    I paid $350 for the Total Tech Support plan, Basic Audio Setup, TV Connect & Setup & TV Calibration services. I need my Sony to be configured by a professional because I've been having channel problems with my system, & I thought the opportunity to get my TV calibrated would be a huge benefit with the due process. Unfortunately $ is the thing Geek Squad cares about. I wasn't able to setup my service dates without calling, but they will take my $ before conveniently allowing me to set my own dates during checkout. That's when I found out the TV Calibration service couldn't be scheduled without calling Geek Squad's dispatch services directly, & their service manager here is a piece of work. I was told I would have to wait 30 days after my Audio services before they'll come & calibrate my TV. I paid $350 to wait 6 weeks? Sounded like they knew how I paid for the services, instead of paying for them out of pocket, so they've refused to service me until it benefits them. I saved $300, & put it on Credit. Why offer services when you refuse to do them? Because you can't make $? I'm sure people who paid $250 out of pocket were given service dates ahead of mine. More corrupt marketing as always... I was never offered a explanation, & was told I would be contacted the following day for three days in a row now. I was reading other reviews with similar problems, so no surprises with how things work on here. I love how Geek Squad keeps telling me I have to wait at least 30 days after getting a TV before it could be calibrated, aka my Audio services two weeks from now. I've had my TV for nearly two months now, so why can't it be calibrated? Oh, yeah! BECAUSE GEEK SQUAD CAN'T MAKE $! I'm going to escalate this nonsense, until I'm told by a Manager the reasoning for pushing my service date nearly two months after payment~

    The Geek Squad guys were not only very good technically, but the had excellent customer service. The made my 78" curved Samsung look the best it has look since I purchased it in 2015.

    We purchased a TV on line for home delivery.and ordered a calibration. The tech advised us to wait a few weeks for the TV to set in. Than he came out. He began his initial calibration and determined that the picture display was bad, and we should request an exchange, which we did. We could tell the difference immediately. Than we waited for weeks for the TV to set in. The te ch returned and did an excellent calibration.

    The TV calibration is performed on new TV after 90 days of use. If you have Total Tech Support this is a $50 item The technician spends around 2 hours tuning the colors on your TV then reviews the changes made and how to return back to original if you don't like the changes. Very happy with the results
