I dont know why people down play best buy? I purchased a samsug 65" the guy at the store was strait foeward he new his stuff. I been reaching online and at other stores, awsome job Best Buy Guy.

This has got to be the Most serious Joke of them all. I have a Manufacturer Warranty of a Insignia 55” RoKu TV that is covered that I purchased at Best Buy and I purchased a 5 Years Protection Plan for this TV as well. The TV ended up having a Defective Part.
I was told it was the Main Front Panel. I have had the TV less than 6 Months. I brought the TV at the
Best Buy Store in Ocala to have them either Replace it with another TV or fix it or maybe give me my Money Back for what I paid for it. Well, the person that looked at the TV and did the So Called Diagnostic turns it on and said it was the “Screen Saver”.
First of All, I will say it was I don’t know what qualifies as a GPS Diagnostic, but if Best Buy chooses to just turn your device on and look at your screen and that’s it. Well I am shocked!
I had to show him and convince him that it was actually broken, He even called a Geek Squad Agent to look at it and after both of them discussed the issue for a few minutes they finally agreed that the panel needed to be Replaced and my TV was actually Broken and it was NOT the Screen Saver.
But that is where it gets worse. The Manufacturer doesn’t have that Panel to Repkace it. The TV can’t even be Repaird. I am sent home with a Broken TV and I am made to have someone come to my Home to do another Diagnostic on it to tell me all this again.
By the way did I even mention that I am a Retired Disabled Veteran and that I had to wait Hours to try and resolve this issue. Unfortunately it never did get resolved.
After waiting almost a week for that appointment the Tech came to my Home and said to me it cannot be Repaired. I need to bring it back to the Store for them to give me my Store Credit or exchange it.
I went back to Best Buy and spoke with a Manager and was there for over 3 to 4 Hours waiting to and having her argue with me. I never felt so Humiliated in my life and felt so mistreated after everything I had to go through.
Then I get a phone call from Best Buy Telling me that I have a Delivery Scheduled to have a TV Deliverd for Drop Off. I thought thank goodness. They found my TV to replace mine that was broken. I waited for them to come on the Appointment Date. When they got here they told me they were here to Pick Up my TV. I said I was told I am suppose to have a TV Delivery. I gave them the name of person who called me. The Info of the TV, everything.
Well, I still have my Broken TV. It is still under the Factory Warranty and the 5 Year Protection Plan.
Long story short, if you find this article Confusing and you feel a little frustrated after reading it just imagine experiencing it.

Impressed! The Tech arrived on time, introduced himself (in uniform) and put on the disposable paper shoes over his shoes before I let him into my home. He gave me several repair/cost scenarios during the diagnostic testing to trouble shoot my problem and after 40 minutes, solved my problem!!

This guys diagnosed my and told me what was wrong. They ordered the parts and when it arrived they contacted me and came to my place and installed it. They did a great job and they are friendly.

The Geek Squad delivered my TV on time and had it set up and operating in about the same time it would have taken me to uncrate it and attach the feet. I will always buy this service.

The installation went quickly and efficiently. When setting up control with Alexa we named the TV sunroom. She understands sunroom but not sunroom tv.

Well, I Purchased the 5 Year Geek Squad Protection Plan for my Insignia RoKu 55” TV that broke after about 6 Months after I purchased the TV. The Picture just went out with lines and bars filling the Screen. When I took it to Best Buy the Rep said it was a Screen Saver and it was fine. I had to wait and convince him it was Broken and finally he agreed and seen it was not working. But they did not even run any diagnostics on it and made me take it back home. I told him I am a Retired Disabled Veteran and that to try and hook everything back up and carry it back it just crazy.
Instead of just letting me Replace the TV they made me wait over 5 days for them to send an Agent to Replace the Screen. Plus, no one has called me the day before the appointment like I was told they were suppose to. I am furious. The Protection Plan is a SCAM. The customer Service is terrible.
