The packa has packaging was a messmall and dinged up a bit, but that's fairly normal with furniture. It is a bit unstable but once you get it mounted to the wall it was fine. The only real issue I have is the doors up top were not cut right so they don't slide easily.

This is a very nice looking table and very easy to put it together. Very safe to keep your toddler and baby for messing with your blu-rays movies or games since the compartments are hard for them to open but easy for you.

I had purchased entertainment furniture in the past from Best Buy but it was in the era of SD tube TVs when 27 inches weighed a ton and screens were 3:4. These days you can buy a 55" and it weighs just a fraction of those old tube TVs but there's a catch, my old cabinet style was too small. I didn't want the hassle of getting a wall mount and wanted storage not just for my DVR & blu-ray players but for my disk collections too. I also wanted height, not these stands that are under 2 feet tall, and depth to hold my sound platform and carousel dvd player but did not want to pay a high price. The Whalen AVCEC54-AT stand gave me just what I was looking for. When I was price comparing, I saw other stores had the same model but for a lower price. I told the guy at Best Buy about the lower prices and if they would match prices and they did! I got this in a box and put it together myself. Best Buy offered a service that would do it for me but I've put together like this before. It took a few hours (lots of gluing dowels and letting the glue set) but the instructions provided were good. I would suggest you have an electric screwdriver/drill when you put this together, make it easier. Whalen calls it chocolate, it's really more of a black with some very deep brown accents. I'm not bothered by the color but just something to be aware of. You "could" pair it with a 60" but I would only do so with additional mounting. I bought this with the Sony 55" 4K (has table footing at the ends) and it fits with about 2 inches of space on each edge. I would suggest 55 inches or under if you really want to play it safe.

Took a while to assemble, but well worth the time. Very sturdy, spacious and attractive.

Came with small scratches on it and when assembly very easily scratched. It hard to see the scratches from far away so still looks amazing far away.

This stand is very sturdy and good quality for the price! Only downside is it takes a while to put together!

Goes well with anything you have in any room to be honest. A master bedroom, game room, living room. It just fits.

This stand is the perfect height for my 65" Sony Bravia TV. Feels solid and looks great. Excellent value.

Ordered this tv stand after reading the reviews. I got it in about 2 weeks. I unpacked it for assembly and found that he headboard has cracks right in the middle. It has been more than 2 months now and I am still waiting for Best Buy to get it picked up to process a refund.

This TV stand is overall very good and I wouldn't hesitate buying it again; however, it can be a little misleading to view it online. The middle section appears to have 2 drawers. It actually is another cabinet instead. 2 drawers were very appealing to me to keep DVDs/Blurays organized but instead it is a cabinet. Easy to put together though quite heavy. Very sturdy.
