The clippers slide out of the holder a ton. Makes it a tad difficult to use

The nail clipper is definitely on the cute side and my daughter liked it for my granddaughter. It functioned well, but the angle was somewhat difficult to use for tiny fingers. I think that this would be better for an older (bigger) child. The file is a nice addition and works well to smooth out the fingernails. Overall a great set and looks nice. I used it for a 3 month old baby and I feel that it might work better for a child closer to 6 month in age.

If you have a new baby, then you know that you need to take care of their nails or they will end up scratching themselves as they are trying to learn to control their arms and legs. This set is great because it comes with both of the tools you need. When a baby is really little, its just not very safe to clip their nails. Instead you should use a file to file it down. This has been great with our little one and is my wife’s favorite part of the set. The file is just easy to use and very convenient. The nail clippers are pretty good, but have their pros and cons. If you need a little better grip and leverage to hold the clippers, this one is great for you. The part you hold in your hand is nice and big and easy to maneuver where you need it to go. The downside is that it does block your view a little more than the teeny tiny clippers you sometimes see in the store. For me, I don’t have much problems manipulating the smaller clippers so I prefer ones that don’t block my view as much, but I know how frustrating it can be to drop clippers right as you think you’ve got it lined up to make the perfect cut. If you are always dropping or having trouble with small clippers, then this is without a doubt the set for you. Overall this is a great set and you won’t be disappointed with them.

It is a basic nail cutter, my wife tried it with our son and was able to get he job done and said that she prefers the small scissor as she can see better but YMMV. It was fine in handling and comes with a filer too. A light option would have been better but for just $5, it does it job well.

This nail clipper and file set is just what it looks like - a quality nail-care set sized with baby hands in mind. The nail clipper is designed with a large lever to make it easy to operate, even with little hands that don't necessarily want to cooperate. It's still always a little nerve-wracking to line up the nail and press the lever while hoping no skin will get caught, but that's not really a flaw of this product. To its credit, this Tweezerman clipper produces a nice clean trim. The cutting jaws are shaped much like a typical adult nail clipper, which my wife appreciated more than our other baby nail clipper, which has offset jaws with an angled edge that just didn't seem to cut quite as cleanly. The included file is a nice bonus. (Tweezerman provided me with this set in exchange for an honest review.)

This Tweezerman nail clipper and file set do an amazing job and get no complaints from the 4 year old when she normally does not like getting her nails clipped. The plastic around the clipper makes it easy to hold and clip, but a takeaway to me is a little less visibility of how much nail is getting clipped since it is kind of embedded in the plastic. Very comfortable to use though and has nice sharpened ends that cleanly cut the nail so its not fighting against you. The clipper has a good cutting shape to it that makes it easy to round the nails. The file is nice and mildly gritty, the daughter loves having it used with the fun design and colors and helps smooth their nails where they have bitten them. Overall a great product and kid tested and approved!

So far there is nothing not to like about these baby clippers. I know they are just baby clippers, but when you want the best, then these are for you. The clippers feel nice and tight in your hand, these reassures you that you have total control of them. Even though they are small, the larger handle give you a very good grip. The clippers separate from the handle if needed, for more precision. The cut on these is phenomenal. Again, I know they are just clippers, but would you trust a cheap pair with your baby's delicate hands? They cut fast and clean with a nice snap. I recommend these baby clippers to anyone who wants the best clippers for their baby, or even for those small clips on a big hand.

I did not realize baby's nails got so dang SHARP. They really can hurt and scratch themselves. It really is important to have the right tool. Tweezerman clippers are always good quality. These are no different. They have stayed sharp in my limited use. They cut great. You do have to file down the nail edges after clipping because they are sharp. The only con that I can think of is that the clippers fall out of the big plastic handle a bit too easily. You can put it back no problem. I do wonder about the durability but still a good purchase for your baby. All in all, if you need clippers for your baby, you can't go wrong with these.

This is the cutest little nail set. Cutting a newborns nails is terrifying. I'm always worried I'm going to get the tip of his finger because he's constantly moving. The guard on the clipper makes it much easier to hold and it's the perfect size to get his little nails with risking his skin. The little nail file is the perfect size to toss in the diaper bag and use on the go when necessary. I've used other safety nail clippers in the past but none fit in my hand as well as this set. I'd highly recommend this set to any new parent and will be buying this for future baby shower gift baskets as well.

These clippers work great! Very compact and easy to use, with a comfortable grip and the green looks great. The file works well and is very gentle.

Pros: 1. This nail clipper is designed well to cut the babies/small children nails. 2. Larger broad handle is suitable for adults to get a good grip even for people with bigger hand. 3. File set is well designed as well with one end little bit more abrasive the other end which will satisfy different people. 4. Recommended for people who have new born babies or who are afraid if they will pull the skin accidentally. Cons: 1. The tip of the clipper is so tiny that its a bit hard to cut the thumb nails. This is overall a very good clipper and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Trimming those fingernails on those little fingers can be a bit intimidating if you haven't done it before. The Tweezerman large handle makes precise trimming easy. I never felt that the clippers would slip and cut something it shouldn't. The blades are very precise and cut well. I'm not sure if this is by design or not, but the actual clippers can slip out of the larger handle rather easily, too easily for me. Perhaps this is to allow a smaller size for travel or something, but I found it mildly annoying. Overall I would certainly recommend these.

These nail clippers work great for newborns. The guard is a nice safety feature. Once the fingers are a little bigger they still work fine but the guard is a little big to be able to see clearly and make sure you're getting the cut you want while they are moving around more. They are good and sharp and cut the nail very cleanly though which is better than most baby clippers we've used. I would definitely recommend these clippers for a baby. There is a little learning curve from the guard but they work great once you're used to them.

Got these for my son and daughter-in-law who recently had their first child. They did not (nor did I) realize how handy it would be having infant-specific clippers until they tried these. They work great and they will probably buy a second and/or third set for home/bag/car so as to never be too far away. In all, I would recommend them to a friend.

The Tweezerman - Baby Nail Clipper & File Set - Green/Grey does a nice job clipping my great grandson’s nails and the nail file adds the ability for smoothing down any rough parts after clipping. My great grandson likes playing with the clippers also, because of its bright green plastic shell. The Tweezerman - Baby Nail Clipper & File Set - Green/Grey is a necessary item to have for complete baby care.

The Tweezerman nail clippers are high quality and cut very effectively. We use them multiple times per week on our 1 year old daughter and they do a great job trimming back her nails. I've found these to work much better than some of the other cheaper alternatives.

When it comes to nail clippers, there's not a whole lot to be improved on, or at least we thought. In a world full of inexpensive grooming products, Tweezerman always seems to find a way to separate their products from the rest of the pack, and these clippers are no exception. The clippers themselves are of high quality, and the large green handles that are attached make the chore of clipping our toddler's nails a much easier task. Seriously, you wouldn't think these handles make that much of a difference, but they really do. Our toddler really didn't let us use the nail file without some serious objection, but it does seem to be of high quality and for filing small nails it should probably last longer than you'll need toddler size grooming tools. Overall, I'm glad we have these and I'd definitely recommend to friends and family!

What can I say other than the tweezers are very ergonomic and give a sense of confidence while using. When you are trimming a baby/toddler's nails, you'll want to be comfortable doing it. Additionally, no complaint on the file for the baby.

Such a simple, perfect, easy to use product. Used it on my baby niece and it's honestly overkill (in a good way!) because I never had anything this fancy as a baby haha. This entire set is such a good value and is really nice looking too.

I got these clippers to have at my house to use on my grandson. I was very nervous to clip his nails but with these clippers it makes it worry free. Easy to use and leave a clean cut.
