Not a bad idea, just poor execution. Rubs my arm raw.

This would be best for boxing type workouts, but I run mostly. I got this so I didn't need to wear 3 watches ( I already have a Garmin, and a FITBIT before I picked up the Apple watch). This allows me to slide the Apple watch up my arm, but for me, not worth the extra time at the end of my runs.

We were excited for this item. Especially to try out during yoga among our many other workout activities. However after the second use, it started to tear. Really disappointed especially for the price.

I bought to wear on my workouts. Unfortunately it’s started coming apart already. I have only had it maybe a month or so.

I like 12 South and their products however this one falls short on the quality. The stitching came off after only one use. Normal use nothing crazy. I got a second one and the same happened Can't recommend it

Great Apple Watch accessory for working out

Twelve South - Actionsleeve Armband For Apple Watch ® 42mm - Black vs genuine and aftermarket (Nike) Apple Watch bands. PROs: The Actionsleeve is far better for working out as far as accuracy of HeartRate (HR) monitoring and safety for the Watch. (primarily running/elliptical and weight /machines in my experience). Push-ups with standard band are uncomfortable and HR monitoring is very inaccurate - much better with sleeve. Holds the watch securely. Easy to rinse off after exercise and dries out quickly. CONs: Somewhat difficult to get watch in/out of holder (but very secure once in place - not a significant con) Band gets warm when exercising (so does the standard watch band) May be difficult to read watch when on upper arm for some (close focus)

This product is well worth the price. I received mine the other day and it works great. I do a lot of high intensity weight lifting and boxing and the wrist bands didn't get a good reading on my workouts. My hbms would come out lower than my normal rate and it was getting frustrating. As soon as I saw this product come available I figured what the heck. The price point was solid and I figured it can't be any worse than the regular wrist band. Turns out it's been great. Much more accurate reads and it's comfy to wear. Slide right on and strap it to your comfort level. The screen is easily accessible and the protective casing keeps it safe and secure. I definitely recommend this for anyone who has been having issues with the wrist straps during workouts. You won't be disappointed. Great for weightlifting and boxing for sure.

    Doesn't work

I strapped my Apple watch in this band, with the idea to use it at work, because we can't wear watches in our processing rooms. Watch could not catch a heartbeat at all, and I'm pretty sure I have one, because as soon as I placed it on my wrist, it got a heartbeat within seconds. I tried various positions to no avail. Gave up and will be returning it today.
