The Twinkly - Square LED panels 5+1 combo pack is a customizable led panel kit that works with Alexa, Hey Google, Homekit, and some other smart homes, the app allows you to customize and create your own lighting arrangements with some premade ideas as well as the ability to create your own designs and you can even add 8-bit pixel artwork and GIFs giving the Twinkly Squares some amazing design potential. Each main panel (which this kit includes) is expandable with up to 15 expansion panels allowing you to make some really good sized designs. The lighting effects can be synced with either music or with your computer and gameplay using either Razer Chroma or Omen lighting. This all sounds great on paper, the issue comes when you look at the size of each individual LED, each 16cm x 16cm panel only has a total of 64 LED lights which is not very many and this 5+1 pack does not feature enough LEDs to do even the most basic of designs since there just aren't enough LEDs to make a good design at this small size. If you look at Twinkly's marketing material either on their website or on the box itself you notice that each of the designs is using much more panels than the 6 included with this kit, and at the prices that each of the expansion kits is currently going for on their website, this very quickly becomes an expensive endeavor all in the sake of lighting. I feel that there are just too many options available to make this particular set a good investment with the way it is currently working, I would like to see them redesign this kit in the future to include more individual LED zones allowing for better customization and making it a much better value in my opinion. As it stands this kit is good for a bit of background lighting, as long as you keep basic designs and color patterns, but for making larger more elaborate designs you need a bunch more panels and I just can't recommend that.

I live Twinkly lights and these are great , but you will need alot more of these to get good effects

Had to return. Connectivity with the app was poor. Overall build quality is meh as well.
