The main reason why I got twinkly squares was due to buying twinkly line at a very discounted price. I instantly fell in love with the way the app works and how you can customize the lights to your preference. I then looked up what other twinkly products there were, and I was eagerly surprised to find out that Twinkly Squares was getting released within the coming weeks! Thats when I decided to take a gamble and pre-order the Twinkly Squares starter kit. It was so vibrant and interesting. Not to mention also that having the twinkly squares added to the app unlocked extra patterns and scenes! The extension 3 pack is the perfect way to expand your set-up for an even bigger and better wall display!

Good but expensive. Wish it came with 4 instead of 3

Twinkly Squares are great as long as you can get them recognized on your network. The app leaves something to be desired.

Expansion to the 5+1 set, allows up to 16 total squares, 15 is max I've used per 'controller'. I have a total of 30 running together all sync'd playing GIFs. Includes everything you need to attach in many different ways to the base set. Only wish it included longer cables for wider spacing.

Honestly some of the coolest lights on the market. Once they come out with widgets it will be so much better

But you cant buy those numbers to get the 16 tiles you need to buy 18. The main one with the controller is 5 extentions and one base for a total of 6. Addons are 3 extensions. So one addon and main you get 9 total. So two addons and main you get 12 total. And three addons and main you get 15. But wait if you had one more you would have the 4x4 that could display the marylin monroe picture perfectly but no they do not sell just one more.

Animation quality awful, gif quality awful. The gradients are beautiful, but you cannot put gifs on it at all unless they're 8 bit. My 80$ Divoom 32 looks much better than this thing.. You have to use more than 6 panels, more like 16 TO START to even form a coherent picture. If they possibly doubled, tripled the amount of squares per panel, it might look a lot better. I wish I knew this going in. If you want to spend the money and max out on maybe 32-60 panels - might be worth the cost. However I can't justify this enough. Plus one of the panels keeps flickering and going out no matter what I do. That's... 550 (with tax) $$$ to get a decent image unless you're just messing with the same twinkly app presets that have been in the app since 2019. It's very limited minus the gif support on what you can do, and been the same for years.. Update this with User curated animations, new scenes (not just 2, I'm talking about more than the 30 Twinkly scenes for the christmas lights that have already been there) formatted for this, and bring down the cost a little.. might be worth it.

Definitely worth it if you're OCD like me and wanted to create a square of squares using the 6 panel base kit and this 3 panel extension.

Ordered this with starter kit , was kot happy with the display capability, ended up having a 5x5 setup
