Twisted Metal: Head On is pretty much TM2 again, but with more cars and a boss after Dark Tooth. It does take place after TM2 in the story line, but you still go to LA, Tokyo, and Paris again. They kind of dumbed it up a bit too. In all the previous Twisted Metal games when you drive off a cliff it meant loss of a life, in this it only means a range between 20-30 points of damage which takes away from the main challenge of rooftop levels, because unless you are low on health, you can drive around as fast as you want, and should you fall you just appear again with minimal damage. Tower Tooth, the FINAL boss, is one of the most ridiculous things i have ever seen...but i would still recommend it for a party, it is fun to play with others.
I would recommend this to a friend

I was excited to go back to Twisted Metal's roots with this game, but it was just too repetitive for me after having played the originals. You still get to select from different cars with cool special weapons and beat your friends up, but there isn't much to keep the experience fresh.
If you have played Twisted Metal, skip it.
If you are new to the series, this is as good as ever.
