I already owned this before, I just wanted it on blue ray. This is a great older film.

This 1996 classic is not one to be missed. Bill Paxton & Helen Hunt lead the way as two estranged tornado hunters who attempt to put their tornado predictor in the sky before their rivals do at any cost. Okay, so the plot is extremely stupid and the acting isn't too much better, but this film bests most films in the same category with some great action scenes, CGI that mostly still stands up almost 20 years later and a sound mix that makes you believe that a F5 has just touched down on your yard. The BluRay itself contains a really good 1080p picture, that while not the prettiest gal at the ball, still dances well without stepping on your toes. The audio, as I said before, is top notch and worthy to upgrade your setup to a full-on 5.1 surround sound system! The extras are mostly repeats from previous editions (A nice commentary by Jan de Bont, some EPK filler and the "meh" music video to the awesome song "Humans Being" by Van Halen) with a couple of nice new featurettes, but all in SD. Still, for the right price, this is one is worthy for a space on your shelf.

We watch it occasionally, and love that it keeps building-up in intensity.

Bill Paxton is fantastic in twister. Everyone should watch this at least once.

Twister is a very good film. One time I was crossing the street and got hit by a car. I went to the hospital and got everything taken care of.
