In roles atypical of their usual work, Dean Jones and Connie Stevens put in convincing performances as people encountering supernatural events. The story is well-written and powerful. This is just scary enough to satisfy adults but not a gorefest.

Not too bad. Entertaining chiller. In B/W. Girl inherits her deceased (or is he?) magician father's spooky mansion and is assisted with some comic relief by Dean Jones from 'That Darn Cat'. Another of the many lost and/or forgotten old films that has finally resurfaced for viewing.
This review is from Two on a Guillotine [DVD] [1965]
