Great movie, well acted, written and directed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie is very well put together. The acting is excellent and complemented with a phenomenal soundtrack. DB Sweeney's directing is only trumped by the fantastic dialogue he wrote; he obviously loves the character's he wrote for in the script. Sweeney writes a perfect mix of humor, heart, and life into the script. There are so many great lines in the script. Everyone will love this movie. The characters feel so real. John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox on "Scrubs") plays the character of Mark to perfection, a former college football star with a current gambling problem, trying to keep his family after his gambling pushes his wife and son. Sweeney is fantastic as Billy. A simple man, former rocker, and all heart (which happens to get broken). When Kevin, the lifelong friend of Billy and Mark, comes across two tickets to the college football national championship game, the three embark on the great American road trip. Along the journey, they learn about themselves, life and friendship, all mixed in with a good laugh. Ed Harris has a great cameo, making a lasting impact on the movie in a short amount of time. This movie has heart, humor, and the special bond of lifelong friends who would do anything for each other. If anyone who has ever come to a crossroads in your life, where you are searching for answers, but not knowing the questions, you will love this movie. I encourage anyone to check this movie out for a good laugh. After viewing "Two Tickets to Paradise" you will come away feeling good. A true hidden gem
