I love this kind of movies but my husband doesn't.

This movie has a solid cast with good acting. I enjoy Tyler Perry movies for the quality and a good message, this movie is no exception. There are too many movies that depict stereotypical no good fathers, but this movie gives kudos to the good fathers like Monty,Idris Elba's character, who care about their kids. Gabrielle Union is as witty and beautiful as she always is, and overall this movie is worth watching again and again!

I loved this movie. While watching this movie I had a chance to see what happens to children everyday and people are not aware of it. Outstanding perfomance by Gabrielle Union and Idris Elba.

Can Tyler Perry do wrong? I love all of his movies and this one is no exception!

this was a very good concept but it felt rushed together. there were too many mini-plots going that didn't necessarily groove with the rest of the plot. Idris Elba is great, as is Gabrielle Union. They are really the only two who seemed like "movie" actors, the rest of the cast seemed more fit for the stage.

Let me say that Tyler Perry's, which I have attended, are wonderful, but his movies suck!!! The only one that could act was Gabrielle Union because she is a good actress. Everyone else, including the kids, were not good at all. I think he should focus on his plays because motion picture is not working for him. Plus, the one who makes his plays good is Mr. Brown who is not even in his movies.
