very easy to remove and place it back, it is magnetic that position itself correctly, very cool. Keys are soft

If picking up a surface you will need this to complete the experience. The keyboard is solid and very much enjoyed using it to type it goes well when using the keyboard and touch screen. The mouse pad works rather well but kinda pointless since you can use the screen. The magnetic stick is is fantastic never came off once it's definitely a plus. Only con was that it doesn't have all the different bending points as the one for the pro this just has 3 positions.

I wouldn't want the Surface without the keyboard. I love that the keys are backlit and are easy to type on.

Attached so quickly I was surprised. Stays attached magnetically. Keeps screen well protected. Easy to use.

The keyboard is easy to use and set up. I like the feel of the keys.

I bought my Surface 3 without a keyboard, because I wasn't a huge fan of the 2nd gen keyboard, but this is much better. The keys are clicky and have enough feedback, but the biggest improvement is in the trackpad. It used to be very difficult to click and feel without looking for me, but the new one feels more like a "real' laptop keyboard. It also can elevate at an angle like most standard USB keyboards, which is a pleasant surprise as well.

I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the extra money on the keyboard but the two are a such perfect fit for each other that its almost a must. In any case its works much better than I expected and does protect the screen. It really is a nice keyboard in use so I am satisfied. I would suspect Micro Soft would sell many more units it if just included the keyboard.

I love the fact that the keyboard provides a good cover for the screen & that it can be easily removed.

As I mentioned in my review of the Surface 3, I bought one for each of my parents as a gift. This keyboard is very good and a must have accessory for the Surface 3. It's has a backlight, so you can see in low light situations. I would've given this 5 stars, but I see the improvements Microsoft has made to the keyboard for the Surface Pro 4, and hopefully, they will do the same for the Surface 4 and make them compatible with the Surface 3 (spaced keys, larger glass trackpad, and a fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello). Overall though, this is a solid keyboard and fits well with the design of the Surface 3.

Wonderful keyboard. I like that it is backlit and even though it is small it is very easy to use.

If you are considering a Surface 3, this is an awesome addition. I have both the keyboard and the pen for the Surface 3, and I am glad that I have both. The Keyboard adds a level of productivity that makes the Surface superior in usefulness. It is well made, sturdy and a good travel size (don't expect full size keyboard). It is good enough to have propped up on my stomach when I am lying in the bed and still be functional.

This keyboard is Kool. It's light and every user friendly.

This is a great product, that serves in two ways,protection and larger use of a keyboard.

I have found don't need my type cover because I use a portfolio and the pen. The type cover is right weight and is easily carried for those occasions it is needed.

If you are buying the Surface 3, your purchase really isn't complete without the keyboard. It is too bad that this doesn't just automatically come with the Surface 3. It enhances the usefulness of the Surface so much. We couldn't do all that we want to do with it without this keyboard. It might cost extra to get this too, but it is definitely worth it. Enhances the Surface 3 in essential ways. Definitely recommend.
