OK VR Goggles, But Short BT Headphone Battery Life

The VR goggles function about as well as I expected a cheap-ish pair to, though it takes a bit of effort to get both lenses in the correct position for good focus, and even then some spots are blurrier than others. The gripe I have is more with the Bluetooth headphones built into the goggles. The battery life is only about 2 hours in my experience, and the sound quality is mediocre. In addition, each time that the BT connection is made/broken or the battery is low, there is a verbal announcement made in a heavy Chinese accent. Luckily, the front of the goggles have slots on the sides so you can plug in your own wired headphones. The bundled controller is also somewhat limited in functionality from what I can tell. All in all, I'm OK with the $20 I paid for it, but definitely would not have kept it if it had cost more.

It works pretty good for kids. Not as good of quality as I would have liked, but my 7 year old doesn’t know the difference.

It's a good product, but it's a bit complicated to set up with the phone since it doesn't have the QR reader to set it up with the card board app. The playing control only works with limited apps, a weakness is that both devices need to be charged the headset and remote only to find out the side functions of the headset not working on many apps.

I bought it for my daughter and she doesn't like it much. It's kind of heavy due to having to use a cellphone

I don’t know what to write here
The whole virtual concept is weird; really weird when cheap items are thrown into market.
It does what it says. You have to download game on your phone. Graphics...like I said, this is not a top dollar item. Good intro into virtual world.

There wasn't much right with this purchase. It had clearly been sold before and returned missing pieces. I would have overlooked that, but in addition, the headset wouldn't take a charge. I am very disappointed in Best Buy's quality control efforts on returned merchandise, or the quality of the product they're selling here.
Best part of the experience was the helpful guy at the desk when I went to return the pieces I did get. My membership id hadn't gotten attached to the purchase, which you can't fix until after you get the product, so we couldn't do the return that way. Kept at it and got the return done.
I'd give the experience a zero stars except for that. Would also have preferred not to have to drive to a store to make the return.

I have been searching for a VR headset for my son that would work with a PC, when I searched for this on Best Buy I was thrilled to find this set. I immediately purchased them, to see if he would really like them before I invested in a more expensive pair. Until we opened the headset and read the Users Manual. These do NOT work with a PC only with a cell phone!! I am very disappointed and now have to tell my son that the description was a lie! I am obviously returning them. No wonder they were on clearance!
Do not buy these for PC use, you will be wasting your time.

After dealing with stuff like charging two different devices and pairing two devices, installing sample programs, stumbling through startup, I found the headset adjustments not able to bring left and right into operable convergence. After only several minutes I felt eye strain and was not able to continue. Removing film from lenses wasn't mentioned in to manual and I had to figure that out. I have an iPhone 7 Plus. I had limited expectations because of the price, but the optical configuration problem made it unusable. Not recommended.

I haven't played the game that comes with it but the system itself is solid. Holds the phone well and isn't too clumsy when you wear it. I got it for $20 and I probably wouldn't pay more then that.

I'm amazed sometimes at how great this thing works. Awesome in some aspects. Sporting events not vey sharp but I am still impressed with how it make me feel like I am right there at the event! Final 4 was awesome to watch using the Oculus Go
