I am total and Permanently disabed and bought the dvd when I thought I was buying the cd.My most trusted music friend has this dvd and says it's great and I should keep !t! I I will for sure on his word alone!

One of the best U2 concert videos I've seen. Certainly well worth watching.

If you are a fan of U2 you must watch this DVD. In Ireland U2 at their best. The only thing that would make it better is if it was on Blu-ray.

I now rate U2 DVD's and their performances by two tracks if I see them. Until the End of the World and Bullet the Blue Sky. These two songs ALONE on this DVD make it soooooooo worth it. I have really grown to want to hear the Edge play guitar as loud as possible and these two tracks deliver so well. The picture for being widescreen is a little grainy, but it was filmed in 2001 so I let it go. At least they have widescreen for it given all the rest of the 4:3 U2 I have. I love that DTS is a sound staple for U2 videos since it is a really great sound format. The difference in fidelity and decibels is so apparent between it and ttandsrd 5.1, let alone PCM. Read as much literature as you can about the concert, because without the history, it will probably seems like another awesome U2 concert. When I read the history though, I completely felt engrossed by the environment they were in. This is where my review turns a little south. Because this DVD, while sporting a few extras, is lacking in a complete set that the limited edition supplies. Don't be cheap like me and get the limited edition if you REALLY want to enjoy this concert. I regret only getting the version I did. I guess you could do as the previous reviewer and read U2 by U2, but that is another way to go. I like to think of myself as a loyal, but grounded U2 fan, but please, see it for yourself.

I read the book U2 by U2 and I've seen the other vids, but reading the book and seeing this video gave me such great insight into this concert. This concert has so much meaning, more than the others, because Bono's Dad passed shortly before and he and the band played with an emotion and looseness that you cannot find on other vids. Watch and see the playfulness. Adam had a great night and Edge went off! Bono's vocals were top notch also. GREAT CONCERT! Sound quality is superb and the video quality and production is very nice. It gives a good feel of being very close to the performers. This is a must have DVD.

but after watching / buying this dvd concert, I am sold on their music. I crank up Bullet the Blue Sky and End of the World and rock out. Two thumbs up for this concert. The crowd is really rockin and the dvd sound and picture are really good. The setlist is stellar.
