It seems to provide the needed protection, but I especially like the textured surface that enables a secure grip. It’s very unlikely the iPhone will slip out of your hand with this installed. It is also simple to install. Note that it does not provide glass protection, so you will need to install glass protection.

I do like the texture backing. Wish it did fit the phone a little bit tighter since it is a small dust magnet near the ear speaker
