This has been a great way to add this feature to the car at minimal expense. He can now answer his phone hands free and listen to his saved music selections. Great buy for him

poos sound quality and static noise

I could not use it on our recent 3-hr road trip due to the poor sound quality with constant static noise and low volume output. I had to turn the volume way up on the radio to hear music but had to eventually disconnect it and toss it aside.

I was hoping to be able to use it to play music and such. But the quality is far from optimal. It does not matter what channel I put it on, it sounds as if I am listening to an FM station 100 miles away.
