I can’t say enough good things about this product! We have a two story house and my old setup from old house did not cut it in new house, so replaced with this and it has been amazing! I can cross the street and still get speed with 130 download and about 15upload. App to setup and maintain devices is super user friendly and very useful to have. Not one of those apps you just download to set up once and thats it, you will want to constantly use it

Brilliant upgrade. I have the main router on one side of my house (bi-level) and the mesh APs in the upstairs living room and the quad downstairs. Everyone gets full bars wherever they are in the house. Speeds are ~120 Mbps all over. What's even better is how quick the integration is. All devices that require 2.4 GHz only pull from that band, all others use 5GHz. The app allows you to monitor all device activity on your network and pause devices at will. You can even turn on a temp first wifi and control how many can be using it at once.

When I first saw this Mesh kit I was very interested in it, as it was the same as the gamer edition but white. Also, it would help extend my range to the other side of the house, thanks to the included antennas. After opening the box, I really liked the build quality and finish of the device. The pleasing aesthetics of it’s design are nothing short of artistic and it is likely the best looking router on the market. Getting it out of the box, you’re instructed to download the amplifi app, and once that was done, the whole thing was up and running in under 60 seconds (It was the fastest router setup I had ever done). So simplicity and speed are great, and this would be great for somebody who has limited technical skill and just wants their internet to work. After using it and playing in the configuration, I came to realize that there were a few things I considered poor choices, but not dealbreakers. Well, at the time they weren’t deal breakers, but now one of them is. First, I noticed that guest WiFi doesn’t appear to have a way to turn this off, and I never run a guest WiFi personally, so I was a little turned off by this, but it wasn’t a deal breaker as it was password protected. Second, was the fact that both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz both use the same password! This is a problem, because the router really doesn’t have any way to limit bandwidth for certain users and not being able to keep them off the 5GHz AC band would be your only shot here. Third, the web interface and the app interface, have two completely different sets of features and that’s extremely bizarre to me. The app literally has far more features than the web interface and that’s backward. Fourth, there’s no way to set the max MTU for the device! This is a serious problem, because this can affect a persons ability to use certain types of VPN. Yes you can set this at the OS level of your computer, but it would be so much better to be able to set it at the router and be done with it. T-Mobile’s 5G gateway is very susceptible to this issue if you need proof that this really is a problem. Now I know what you’re thinking, why not just use the guest for them… This would be an awesome idea, if not for the fact that you cannot specify the bands that the guest network is allowed to use, or even limit it’s bandwidth! What is the purpose of a guest WiFi? Seriously, if it is just another SSID with a password, why even have it at all? Others have complained about the fact that there’s no way to use a physical backbone with the extenders and it’s interesting. I can change the backbone band and the normal band in those extenders, so it didn’t bug me too much. However, if this matters to you, you might want to move along. Now you might be worried about the speed, but don’t be… This thing can deliver enough bandwidth for wired and wireless connections, under most circumstances. You do not need AX in most situations. In the end, I’ve used this thing for about a year now, and knowing what I know now, I would likely not have kept this device and I certainly would not recommend it to people. I used their request a feature option, for some of these things and Ubiquiti decided to ignore those requests. So, this is very much a router that puts form over functionality and it is a shame, because it could be the perfect setup.

I have a commercial Ubiquiti non-mesh system in one of my properties and it works flawlessly - better and more consistent than any other system and I have tried them all. When I went to outfit a 2,500 sf house my son recommended this. I was skeptical as it is a mesh system and some products base code (Ring for example) might not sync well with mesh WiFi and the code has not yet been updated, I am told - BUT this works with everything, no issues. Easy set up, consistent performance.

This was super easy to set up and it was up and working literally in minutes. It creates an additional network off the existing WIFI which turned out wasn't the problem I was trying to solve - it was my computer having the problem all along, BUT I would highly recommend the product for ease of setup and how well it worked. Looks stylish too and you can access it from your phone to check connections, speed, etc. Overall excellent, especially for the money.

Disclaimer: I used this system to eliminate Wi-Fi dead spots in my 2400 sq ft home. The equipment was connected to the modem/router provided by my internet provider, AT&T. The AMPLIFI system was the easiest piece of technical equipment I have ever installed in any setting. Other than entering my network name and password, I don’t believe I needed to provide any other data. I just sat back and let AMPLIFI configure itself. The best part: it actually works. It has not skipped a beat since installation. I can reach the Wi-Fi network in every corner of my home. Worth every penny.

Best router I've owned to date! Its fast and the easiest to configure and adjust through a very easy to use app. The one I bought didn't have the adjustable directional range extenders tough (haven't needed them for my apartment but for when I'm gonna buy a house I'll most definitely gonna get some extra "directional" extenders for sure! ) The internet speed is at maximum at all times which is great!

Excellent solution for medium to large homes. Three floors in mine and I spend most of my time in the basement (it's a Midwest thing). I have one antenna on the second floor, another on the first floor and the main unit is in the basement. At times I have to reboot IOT devices because they have connected to the antenna furthest away. I've played with the connection routing feature but doesn't seem to improve the above. The built in access controls work great...don't need to ask my daughter to get on the PC or turn on the TV...10:59pm CST it Amplifi policy kicks on and blocks traffic from the TV, laptop, and phone. I like it...I like alot. Not to mention I get great coverage even outside!

I have a few Ubiquiti devices and thought I'd try the AmpliFi Mesh system. So far I haven't had any problems. Now every nook and cranny of my house have wifi. I also use the router that goes into a switch where I have cat 6 wire though out the entire house. My wired and wifi network is the best thus far. I also forgot to mention I have one access point out in my detached garage which gives my wireless cameras signals. All and all I'm happy with my purchase.

I live outside city limits and have a hard time with internet quality. I just changed internet providers and he recommended this product to reach the other end of the house and out to our pool house. I thought it was pricey at first but it has been so worth the cost. We have had the best connections and no more internet headaches. Also, I am not a techy person and had no problem setting it up and the app on my phone is really convenient.

The set up and configuration could not be easier. Download a simple app on your phone and use it to set up / configure / manage the system. Multiple stories and thousands of square feet in the home with no dead spots! Yeah, it may be a little pricier that other mesh systems, but you know what they say, "You get what you pay for."

It's hard to explain how good this system is. There was basically no setup. Everything just works all the time. My entire house has full signal and updating the firmware is as easy as touching the screen on the router. It's so good. I can even control it remotely on my phone if I want to. I put my modem in bridge mode so my Amplifi is handling all of my NAT and it is lighting fast. Why didn't I do this sooner?

Easy to set up. Works flawlessly with all of the WiFi based components in our home. App allows fast access to control everything. We are finally able to receive and utilize the Download speed that we pay for from our ISP. Also great customer service via email. My question on how to use WSP was answered in minutes.

I was having problems with all my devices hooked up to the spectrum WiFi router all the time. Stuff would get kicked off the WiFi and had bad coverage too. I bought this system and everything runs smooth and fast too. This system will reach my garage now too!! Worth every penny!! Love the app for your phone!! You can choose what items and when the WiFi is blocked from them. Great for your kids with game consoles. Can block the console at a certain time so the kids will go to bed!! Trust me from experience with my son!! Buy it well worth it. You don’t hear much of this brand but wow.

Having used ubiquity’s other products in business. I knew that this router would meet Or exceed expectations. Switched out a newer Linksys router for this because the old router was dropping connections constantly. Thankfully, I upgraded before we all were under the pandemic stay at home order. I can’t imagine what life would be like on my old router. With 2 kids streaming and homeschooling while I work from home, there have been no issues. No complaints from me or the kids. And, the one time the service providers connection dropped I only had to look down at the router and the display told me what was going on. Easy setup, flawless performance and nice easy to read display and app. Worth the extra money.

I made my home a smart home with lights, locks, cameras, and plugs, so I have a lot of things on our wi-fi. In addition to that, my house EATS w-fi signals, so I needed a good mesh system. I had one of these for years and it worked perfectly, until one day it died. I debated buying another one again, but decided to try the new Google Nest Wifi Mesh system. It couldn't hold a candle to the AmpliFi! I was always resetting it, the range of the mesh points were poor and I couldn't get good service from them, and I always had smart lights & locks that were constantly dropping off the network. I ended up unplugging the Google router and going ahead and buying another AmpliFI. The good signal and reliable service is now back. I should have never went with anything else. It's simple to set up the app has a lot of diagnostic and client information available from it.
