Physical DLC. You could buy these weapons digitally through the Nintendo eShop if you don't want to manage these plastic add ons. However, when I purchased these, it was cheaper than the digital version and it's more satisfying (albeit goofy looking to anyone else) to snap on and off these add ons to my arwing mid game. It seems I could play the whole game with just the lasers but certain enemies have weaknesses to other elements. It all depends on how you want to play the game.

I’m a big fan of Starlink. The game alone it’s awes, and being able to use the different items is just outstanding. I have been able to collect all weapons packs, pilot packs, and spaceships. The only downside is that parts are very small so they could be a hazard for little kids. All items do come with the age warning though.

Fun Starlink addition, love the ability to change weapons. Crusher creates gravity wells around its target, crushing it and pulling in nearby projectiles for extra damage. Shredder Mk. 2 continuously fires projectiles, dealing extra damage when an enemy weak point is hit.

If building a physical Starlink collection, the weapon packs are all a must, they are the most affordable packs and the most useful as well in giving variety to the gameplay.

Starlink is an amazing game. The figures are incredibly detailed and easy to use. Having such awesome ships on my shelf make the experience even more in-depth.

I have really been enjoying this game and find myself wanting more and more of the gear. These weapons have definitely been the best I have gotten, and are both very useful. The Shredder Mk2 is my go-to default for any situation and the Crusher works well against certain enemies. This is probably the best of the standalone packs.

This pack comes with a kinetic Gatling weapon, and a gravity weapon. It is the only gravity well type in the game (the others are vortex type). The kinetic weapon is decent, but the gravity one is really good. If you’re only buying one weapon pack and haven’t gotten a vortex weapon yet, get this pack

My son likes this game. He likes this weapon pack,siad it is a must have for some of the levels.

I mostly got this because I'm a completest and with them being on sale I figured I would go a head and complete my collection of ships, weapons and pilots. I can totally get going with a digital version of all of these items since the ships take up a good amount of space and have to be connected once a week to keep using them.

This was prob the last game that used the toys to life as an integral part of the design. The game itself is actually pretty good. You dont need the toys ton play it, you can just buy a DLC pack that unlocks it all. But there are some cheats and tricks you can only do if you have the TOYS.

If you have kids that you can play with, the didactic nature of the accessories will keep them entertained. A good value too at clearance prices, as these accessories are being discontinued (the game will continue to be supported digitally). The cost of the content digitally will undoubtedly be more.

This is a very valuable pack because it gets you a gravity weapon, which is very hard to find otherwise. The other weapon is fun too, since you hold down the button for a very long spray of bullets. Highly recommended!

Not necessary to play or complete the game but so much fun to see brought to life on screen. This pack includes a cheaper way to acquire a vortex weapon if you don't want to invest in ship packs and this Shredder MK 2 is a big improvement over the default Shredder.

If you can find this game, it’s fun. I like physically building something, then using it to battle the bad guys. This is an add on to add variety to the game.

The quality of the pieces are very well made but the bad is that the market for Starlink has dropped out of it causing price drops. But the game itself is very well made and worth playing if you decide to give it a go.

Buy the combined set (all currently ON SALE) and use your Gamers Club. It is actually cheaper than the E-Store Digital Deluxe version AND will make you LEGENDARY with your kids.

The game can be played without all of these add-ons, but you don’t get the full experience of the game. Kids enjoy building different ships but $$$ adds up quick for parents.

Needed it for the game mainly to have access to what this product offered with in it but glad I got it to have it added to a collection restocking product require every couple of days to reactivate in game item.
