The accuracy of the Hailstorm gun is good for precision attacks, to get critical damage. It also has the frost effect, so it's great for slowing them down to then line up the critical shots. The Meteor weapon requires you to hold the button to charge it up a bit first, then propels your ship forward at a high speed to crash into enemies in a blaze of fire. The longer you hold it down (up to a maximum point) the farther it will go upon releasing. It's good when enemies start getting a bit too close for comfort. The ice/fire duo is also really good as a starter set, since the first 2 planets are themed for those elements.

I’m a big fan of Starlink. The game alone it’s awes, and being able to use the different items is just outstanding. I have been able to collect all weapons packs, pilot packs, and spaceships. The only downside is that parts are very small so they could be a hazard for little kids. All items do come with the age warning though.

The Hailstorm is a good cold element weapon - it shoots cold bullets; pretty straight forward, good for in planetary combat, less so for space combat. Gets a lot of use from me against heat elemental enemies. The Meteor Mk. 2 is a heat ram - you literally charge your ship up and ram forward to deal heat damage; high damage, but it takes time to charge and makes you a sitting duck while doing so. Okay for taking out cold obstacles, but useless in combat. At least in my opinion, ymmv. Overall, I'd say these are okay but not great weapon choices. You can get by with the Frost Barrage you get in the starter, so I'd only pick this up if you want a cold gun instead of just missiles, or if you're a completionist (or if, for some reason, a ramming weapon sounds like fun)

These are a great edition to the game. Some characters have weakness to certain types of weapons and changing them out on the actualy starship is awesome

Heard that you can get all ships and weapons as DLC and its cheaper, but for the kids its really cool having ships and weapons they can touch

I bought these to go with some of the ships for the Starlink game. The weapons help in different areas and are easy to change. I highly recommend.

Meteor MK.2 is decent, Hailstorm is great. When used with a projectile heat weapon, they synergize for high bonus damage.

Comes with 2 weapons to attach to any ship. Looks great and works in game.

This was prob the last game that used the toys to life as an integral part of the design. The game itself is actually pretty good. You dont need the toys ton play it, you can just buy a DLC pack that unlocks it all. But there are some cheats and tricks you can only do if you have the TOYS. This is prob the last great toys to life game.

I mostly got this because I'm a completest and with them being on sale I figured I would go a head and complete my collection of ships, weapons and pilots. I can totally get going with a digital version of all of these items since the ships take up a good amount of space and have to be connected once a week to keep using them.

I purchased this because they were on discount for Christmas and I'm glad I did! Starlink is SUCH a fun game with an expansive world to explore and endless missions! I own all the weapons packs, most of the pilots and ships. I highly recommend this game!!

If you buy the physical Starlink game, this is a fun add on that can let you experience different game play. Just snap it on your starship, and it will show the weapon details in the game play.

The quality of the pieces are very well made but the bad is that the market for Starlink has dropped out of it causing price drops. But the game itself is very well made and worth playing if you decide to give it a go.

I enjoy using the alternate weapons provided in this pack, keeps Starlink feeling fresh with these replacements for the default guns. Easy open packaging no issues with product.

Needed it for the game mainly to have access to what this product offered with in it but glad I got it to have it added to a collection restocking product require every couple of days to reactivate in game item.

Starlink is an amazing game. The figures are incredibly detailed and easy to use. Having such awesome ships on my shelf make the experience even more in-depth.

A variety of different weapons that have different strategies available for them. The fire one is a ramming type weapon and is a lot of fun to use.

The triangle-shaped one is essentially a ram, and it's hysterical to launch enemies across the screen. The other one is a freeze ray, very effective.

This is my favorite sci flight adventure game. I had to collect all the various different accessories. I have them all.

Purchased this along with the starter set . My son loves playing with this and I even played to. . My sin is 9 years old
