I am impressed at the volume and sound quality of this speaker. Sounds much better than the other Bluetooth speakers in the store. It is water resistant as well. I took it on vacation out by the pool and had people coming over to listen to it too. It is well built, battery life is good. I did notice the volume is much louder over the Bluetooth connection than the wired connection. Very pleased with my purchase.

Initially started out to buy 1 waterproof speaker as my son's Christmas gift. After hearing it in the store, and then running into 2 other people that had first hand experience with the speaker at outdoor parties, I ended buying one for each of my kids and then one for myself. The speaker is surprisingly heavy for its size. It immediately paired with my Mac computer, my son in laws iPhone, and my daughters iPod. I also have an old iPod that did not have bluetooth and it worked excellently using the port for a hard wire connection. Sound is excellent. My son is a music addict when outside and was less than enthused when he opened his gift. 10 minutes later he was in total awe that this speaker put out so much quality sound, even at a high volume. I know that some have commented that at maximum volume there is a little distortion. There is just the slightest hint of it, but its at a volume that I would not have even thought to play the speaker at. This speaker comfortably plays a loud volume for a typical patio party. If you are looking to fill an entire backyard, a second speaker might be necessary. The only thing this speaker does not crank out is base, but for most users, this will not be a factor.

I bought this to take on a trip to South Beach and I have been really impressed. It pairs easily with all my devices (Windows, Android and IOS), the sound is amazing and most important to me it's loud. The battery life is great and I love the 360 sound - I've tried all the high end Bluetooth portable speakers and this is far and away the best.

This review is for Ultimate Ears BOOM Wireless Bluetooth Speaker - Black. I Went to Best Buy and listen to the Bose Soundlink Mini, the UE Boom, Beats Pill, and the JBL Flip. Quickly narrowed it down to the Bose Soundlink Mini and the UE Boom. The UE Boom's bass is just a tad under the Bose Soundlink Mini, but the UE Boom's volume and overall clarity was much better in my opinion. The 360 degree listening area of the UE Boom and its 15 hour battery life versus 7 for the Bose Soundlink Mini was ultimately what sold me. Oh, not to mention the UE Boom has an app with an equalizer that can do minor adjustments and you can see battery percentage from your phone or hear it by holding down both the volume up and down buttons on the unit. Nice to know UE Boom will do software updates with the app that you can then adjust your speaker. I feel bad for anyone that bought the Bose Soundlink Mini and didn't test out the UE Boom first. If you're debating, try them both out and you will go with the UE Boom hands down. I would like to Thank Ms. Britney who work at (Mid River Mall) whose customer focus was exceptional. She showed professionalism, knowledge of the products.

This Bluetooth speaker is the beat right now in the market it haves a strong long life battery 15h the distance 50 ft range plus you can combine two speakers and still get stereo sound from it also make with water and dirt resistant and haves a rubber surrounding speaker from drops and falls a++ speaker

Has really good sound from a small speaker. Purchased for my child so that she could have a portable speaker. She really loves it. Was easy to set up and pair with her IPhone. Like that you can adjust the volume and control the functions with the phone. Battery seems to last a long time after charging.

I shopped for about a month for a good bluetooth speaker. I was looking for durability coupled with great sound quality. This speaker delivers those is spades. I use it out by the pool and at the ranch. The 15 hour battery life is awesome. The sound quality is amazing for such a small speaker. It is splash/waterproof and can handle being outside. Super easy to use. Bluetooth pairing is super simple and the range is easily as advertised or better. The app that you can download to your phone or ipad is fantastic. Allows you to change the sound to fit the type of music or the room that you are in. The ability to pair two speakers to one device is great too. Overall, a great purchase.

I purchased this wireless speaker for my son to use by the pool this summer. He has an older Bose SoundDock that isn't wireless and wanted something with Bluetooth technology to use outdoors. I spent hours researching and reading reviews and then listening to many different brands. I had every intention of getting one of the new little Bose, but after all was said and done, this little number was perfect! Not only does it produce a quality, rich sound (not tinny like many of the smaller units, and even some more expensive units), but it is waterproof and dust proof as well (important in how he wanted to use it). It also has a loop on one end that you can put on a carabiner hook and hang it on a backpack, belt, or even a bike. It was very simple to pair with the Iphone and have music within seconds. It sounded beautiful in our 30 foot living room and filled it with music. I have not heard it outdoors, so I do not know how it will sound there. For the price (we got it on sale), I would highly recommend this!

Now, no matter where you are, you can have really nice sound. This little UE Boom speaker is well thought out. From the heavy solid feel, the tower shape, and the long battery life, you can not only feel the quality, you a hear it. No, it's not the sound of your home system, but there is a nice mix of bass and treble and much more sound than your mobile devices. There is no buzz on unwanted sounds when played low or booming loud. I like the tower shape. It seems to sit solidly on a table or any flat surface. It also seems to send out a sound in all directions. It comes in a very protective case that cleverly contains the charger and cord, (which are a trendy yellow with a flexible flat cord.) I've not had the speaker a long time, and i have not dropped it, nor it has not been rained on, so I cannot speak to those issues. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and look forward to hearing the sounds for years to come.

Bought my mom one of these after extensive research into Bluetooth speakers, I chose this one because my mother isn't the friendliest to electronics and this thing can survive. Hearing it on display in a noisy best buy is one thing, but once you take it home you REALLY see how this thing shines. Once my mother opened it, I was overwhelmingly impressed by its clarity and overall loudness. The sound quality is unrivaled and it's 360 design really works wonders with applying sound to all areas of the room. She uses it every day wherever she goes. She even got tired of my step-father borrowing it and bought him his own. Which is even better cause you can pair these things for double the sound! I'm glad I waited to buy my own because the different designs are awesome and the camo print is eye-turning. I use mine all day every day (it has a 15 hour battery) and every friend that sees it wants one of their own.

I bought this speaker on a Black Friday special to use as a portable speaker in various rooms and in the garage when working outside. It puts out a decent amount of volume with good base. Easy to use and so far it pairs every time I use it with my phone. I have not tried to run the battery down all the way, but it can easily handle at least a few hours of non-stop music.

It looks cool, produces great audio and is very resilient. It was super easy to setup and has unreal battery life. I have the black/red version and it looks like it did on the day I bought it. It has been the sound system for two parties and everyone raved about how clear the music was and surprised they were that such loud sound came out of a small speaker. It has survived countless play times for my 2 year old (who likes it even more than I do). Overall it is worth every penny and I recommend it to everyone that asks or mentions Bluetooth speakers.

After listening to a number of different bluetooth speakers in the store, I decided to purchase not one but two of these UE Booms. Besides the sound, the other major selling point for me was the ability to link and use two of these speakers simultaneously. By downloading the free UE Boom software, I can control the input and volume to both speakers simultaneously via my Iphone while maintaining the ability to receive phone calls, etc. I don't know exactly how long the rechargeable batteries last (since I've yet to run them down completely in one use) but from my personal experience so far, it's at least 8 hours or more before recharge is necessary. I use these speakers everywhere....in the boat, the backyard and even at the beach. They're not waterproof but they are certainly built to be water resistant. I would have given this product a 5 start rating if the speakers were capable of delivering just a bit more heavy bass....but other than that, I think they're great!

This speaker is awesome. Its ability to serve as a speaker phone (even in your car or while walking or on bike rides) in addition to lasting several days on a single charge makes this speaker a great choice. That's 15 hours of portability to be exact. Did anyone mention that you can pair this speaker to another one? That's right, buy two and pair them for stereo sound. It's easy and incredible. So awesome, i actually bought two. UEBOOM has an incredibly awesome tech support staff, located in Brooklyn NY. I could talk all day about this product but you get the message. If you're not convinced by now, you're in total denial!!!

I've been searching for a portable speaker for a long time. The UE boom does not disappoint. It has great sound quality, great output and its the perfect size to bring anywhere. It is super easy to sync with devices. I like the variety of color options they have too.

Bought this for me to have outside for parties. Puts out amazing sound for the size without getting distorted. Easy to use and water resistant. Love this little guy!

I wasn't a portable speaker kind of guy until they started changing the speakers on iPhones/iPads. To make these devices slimmer the speaker quality gets sacrificed, sometimes you can't hear the media you are playing back. So I decided to try out one of these and it is a good to great product. They sound good though not as life changing as the reviews will have you believe. To remedy the low bass, place them in corners on a solid surface so they reverberate. I also like the camo design pattern, the rest of them are bland or not to my liking. They limit the supply to drive demand. Also they are a handy size and versatile to carry around. They fit well in cup holders. My only gripe is that there's no way to "next" tracks from the speaker, you have to do it from the source. They should have something like press a button twice to hear the next track. Maybe on the next version.

Let me start off by saying, I have bought a few different Bluetooth speakers . This one is the best out of any that I have bought. It's water proof, and life proof. I have dropped this in a warehouse off a ladder and still continues to work fine. I have went camping and used it near and in water and no issues. The battery is the only thing that could be better. It is supposed to have like a 15 hr life after charge but depending on how high you play your music on this, you might only get a few hours. Other than that, it's a great speaker. Sounds great at any level without distortion.

We looked into this speaker after a family member purchased it and we had a chance to hear it perform. We were pleasantly surprised on how well it sounded and was by far the best quality sound, loudest volume, furthest reaching radius & longest battery life compared to any of the other speakers in it's similar class. We went in thinking we would just take a look and listen and weren't planning on making a purchase but after listening to its performance and only 2 left on the shelf we decided to go ahead and purchase one! :) We have been extremely pleased with it!

Sound is amazing. Battery is pretty long lasting and the speaker can tell you how much charge is left. I haven't tested the water resistance but I'm sure it's pretty good. I love this speaker and it's loud enough for even a larger room.
