This is actually my second UE Boom, not because the first one broke but because I wanted to use the double up feature and have my speakers playing in stereo. My experience with the product is that it's super reliable, durable as I've taken it on long trips in my bag and have dropped it a few times. Gets really loud without any distortion and being water resistant makes it great when I'm outside. Highly recommended.

I was in the market for a Bluetooth speaker and after lots of research and watching lots of YouTube reviews I decided on the ue boom. I highly recommend it. Not tons of bass but plays loud for its size. Very compact. Fits in any bag easily. Fits in a cup holder. Battery last a very long time if played at a lower volume. 15 hours. I listen to It a lot and I can go a week or so without charging it. It's also water resistant. I bring it to the pool or the beach and have no worries. A+++++ for a Bluetooth speaker.

Great for traveling and for any outdoor person. Easy to pack, durable, waterproof, long battery life, and great sound.

Sound is good, which is most important. The flexibility of configuration (like being able to double up) and durable feel (life proof) are also both great. I've paired it with many devices and it's always been both fast and easy. What keeps it from being 5 stars is just one button. Now that I've had it for several weeks I find I carry the speaker around with me but often leave my phone on its charger. When a call comes in I can't answer from the speaker, nor can I pause or restart the current track without getting back to the phone. This is nothing that would keep me from buying it again, but if it just had that one button which would do those tasks (just like my BT ear buds) it would be a perfect product.

These speaker have great sound, clear, great base, very compact and water resistant. easy to use and take anywhere.

I previously had a JamBox, but whenever we'd go to the beach, it was quite loud enough and I was always worried about it getting messed up. This has much better sound, is much louder, projects in every direction, and is designed to be exposed to the elements. My wife and I use it all the time, when out were hanging outside, at the beach, and at sporting events. Compared to other portable Bluetooth speakers at this price point, I think this is the best option.

I principally bought this speaker for its portability, it also has a good sound and is certainly loud enough. Only downside is if I take it into a different room from my iPad, it cuts out. Great in an open plan room though. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Also, beware, a couple of years from now when the rechargeable battery stops charging, the battery cannot be replaced, so the whole thing will have to be thrown away. I actually called UE Boom and they confirmed this. You will not be able to just plug it into the wall instead, that won't work. The same is also true of the more expensive Sony SRS-BTX500. Just sayin'

High quality sound , probably the highest in it's size and price. Researched all in its class and chose this for the big quality sound, small size & water resistance. I knew my 14 year old daughter would take it into the bathroom (without ever turning on the vent fan) into high humidity conditions... I wanted the best quality that would withstand what she would put it through-so far so good;-) Really great sound!

Great sound, long Bluetooth range, durable. Great battery life. I use it all the time.

This is the best speaker. By far. It beats the Beats pill any day. The Beats pill when turned up crackles and this does not. I have the indigo color and I absolutely love it. This is a durable speaker (yes, even waterproof!) and sounds fantastic. I even put it in the water bottle holder when I ride my bicycle. Fits perfectly!

I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker and the sales associate explained the difference between all available models. UE Boom has excellent sound and is water resistant. If my budget had allowed I would have purchased the next model up which is waterproof. Especially since I have a pool. Sound is fantastic, we use it on our deck at home, bring it to the beach...easily portable. Great purchase!

It's a great mid range speaker that gets really loud for the size and price and has a decent amount of bass. It is also water resistant and great for the shower, also very good battery life: If you have the extra 100 dollars go ahead and get the mega boom just because of better sound quality and it is fully waterproof. But overall this is a great speaker way better than beats.

Let's face it, more people listen to music and watch video from their smartphones, tablets and portable computing devices than ever before. The sound from the built-in speakers have much to be desired. The UE -Boom is simply one of the best products I've heard in it's class. The sounds is full, bass is clear but not exaggerated, and the build quality is good. For the money, It should have come with a carrying case and it would be nice if the price was closer $150. That aside, skip past Beats, Jawbone, Sony, and Bose for the portable speaker and grab one of these.

While it is not a replacement for a home stereo or even a good boom box from when I was a kid (do they even make them anymore?! Haha!), the UE Boom sounds great for it's size. And all genres of music, classic rock, country, jazz, classical, reggae, hip hop, etc. No it does not have earth-shattering bass, it has more than enough for an average room, or BBQ outside. Especially considering it's size. Reviews here that say it has no lows are ridiculous! It's easy to pair, set up, adjust with the app (highly recommended), and charge. Yes it's more expensive, but it's louder than most, doesn't distort, holds a good charge (as advertised right out of the box!), and is much more durable than it's closest competitor, the Bose sound link mini. I spent a lot of time researching, comparing, and testing other units, and in my humble opinion this one was far and away the best overall.

I bought this speaker for my son, who is a music teacher. He needed a speaker that he could hear over the amplified sound of his guitar students. The size is perfect to carry from studio to studio, and the volume goes a lot louder than he had expected. The overall sound is great. This was the perfect gift, exactly what he needed. I intend to buy another for my husband.

First off, the color of this speaker (northern light) is more of a teal not the bright green it seems to be in the picture. I happen to love the teal it is more on the blue side and looks great. I love the power of this speaker. It is loud and clear and you can also pair two speakers together. It is such a durable speaker as well and does not take up much room.

these speakers are the best bluetooth speakers I have ever used. Clear, amazing sound all the time. Strong battery life, drop proof and water proofed. They don't have too much bass or treble, and through the app you can customize your EQ. Not a single complaint, 6 out of 5 stars.

This speaker is absolutely great. Great battery life, good volume, not too bulky. I got this on sale during Black Friday for $100. I was thinking about the Mega Boom for the better bass and longer battery life but the sale price couldn't be beat. Also the Mega Boom is massive. Definitely would recommend. You can also link with multiple other Boom's!

I purchased three of these as gifts and they were a hit. Good sound quality, battery life and small form factor. My only quibble is the bass isn't the strongest, but it's not bad. One thing to watch - the older models available on some web sites do not seem to have the battery performance of the newer models. I may be getting another, this time for myself.

Purchased to provide excellent speaker for my music, which it does! But I also wanted to use it for conference calls and hands free telephone conversations. It is awesome! The sound quality is crystal clear and has plenty of volume for anything I have used it for. And the distance between the phone and the speaker is unbelievable and still crystal clear!
