Was looking for a speaker small enough yet powerful enough that I can bring to the beach. Looked at the Bose but love the sound of the U boom and the idea that it is water resistant Perfect for outdoor people near water. My best friend liked it so much, I brought her to Best Buy and she bought one.

Excellent sound quality and ease of use. Use this to take to the pool and as a portable radio for my go go scooter.

Great sound especially when you pair them up. You need the app to pair them up. Had one for over a year, works great. Weather tight, auto shutoff to save battery life. Well worth the money.

This is a wonderful, durable on the go sound device. Throw it in your backpack, suitcase whatever....park, beach, mtns. wherever and it's awesome sound with long battery life with little worries.

Everything it claims to be. Only possible complaint is that it doesn't come with a manual. The thing is magical.

I was looking for a speaker that would be compatible with both my macbook pro and iPhone. At first I was told that the speaker would probably not work with my laptop, but they were not sure at the store, so I figured it was worth the shot. I am glad that i took the chance with it! I first connected it with my phone to figure out how to connect it and then tried with my laptop and BAM, it worked! The sound I feel is on par with the bose speakers that this is replacing and it is far more portable! A bonus was that I got a call while I was listening to music on my phone and when I answered it it came over my speaker, after realizing it had a microphone built into it, I have now started using this to allow me to drive hands free wile talking on the phone. If you are looking for an all around semi rugged speaker, this one is for you!

This peaker pairs quickly and easily to multiple sources, so you can take turns playing songs. Construction seems solid. Sound is better than I expected from a speaker this size. I read many reviews and looked at few different models at this price point, and I am not disappointed with my purchase. I also considered the colored Bose mini, JBL charge 2, and a few others. You can also pair this unit with a second to get stereo sound or fill a roger room.
