The sound of these are amazing anywhere you take it, inside, outside, or in a small room based on the App software options. The best THD performance I've seen in a long time let alone from a wireless speaker. Amazing tweeter and bass levels. Like the phone call ability as well. The battery life is better than they say, lasts at least 20 hours total play time. Make sure you run it all the way down the first time before you recharge for the first time.

Overall it's a great speaker. I would purchase it again especially for the price point. This speaker has provided the music for several beach trips, outside picnics, small cookouts. A six pack a blanket and my boom and I'm ready for anything outdoors. Indoors it's good for a one room situation especially if your not trying to violate the neighbors with your loud music. But if I'm in a room away from my stereo system better believe I have my UE Boom playing. A bit more bass would have been nice. But would have had to upgrade to the other boom and that price point is too much for a speaker I'm going to take to the beach. Overall love it. Cool colors as well.

I love this speaker. It performs exactly as promised. After returning another speaker that did not serve my purpose well, I quickly went back and bought this one. I live very close to a major highway and I like to garden in my backyard. I am able to hear my music over all the noise. Albeit, playing music at this volume inside the house will sound a little wrecked. It is not a DJ system. I plan on buying another one because you can link them.

Sounds great and looks good. Easy to use and set up. Expected a great product and that is what I got.

I did my researching for the best wireless speaker and something that was easy to travel with. I have the large Harman/Kardon. which is the best of all wireless speaker but its not easy at all to travel with plus it only stays charged for 2 hours. I got this one here for a Christmas present and charged it up 3 days before New Year's. We went to Vegas for 4 days and played it night and day without having to recharge it. The sound carries throughout the 4 bedroom condo. I wished it could have a lot more Bass like the larger harman/kardon. Also it comes with the best secure carrying case, that compartmentalizes all the accessories within.

Don't walk, but run to pick the best under $200 Bluetooth Speaker. I had trouble finding a bluetooth speaker that was reasonable and sounded reasonably good. Since the early 90s, I have listened to great audio systems, but I was looking for something I can take to the beach or around the campfire. This was the one that fit the bill. I has a hook, so you can hang it from your beach umbrella or a tree. You won't regret purchasing it.

Not meant for a concert hall by no means, but this little can cranks pretty good... Low distortion and decent bass makes for some good jams... I'm heading to the mountains this weekend so will give it a good test in a crowd. Having two linked together is pretty cool for some stereo action and is on my list! Oh and seems to hold a decent charge too...

the speaker is easy to connect to your Bluetooth device and has a great volume range. The sound is excellent for one speaker. The battery lasts 6 hours before needing charging.

One of the better sounding and rugged Bluetooth speakers out there. I have two. Stereo mode is were its at. Only issues that I've had is pairing both speakers sometimes. Nothing a turn on-off won't fix. Also sometimes I will get drop off or interference around other electronics. But that is when I'm trying to do stereo mode out of an Apple TV, while airplaying a video on wifi. It's could be the Apple TV for all I know

Was looking at the pill by beats and Bose before purchasing this item. In the end I decided to go with the boom. The sound quality is excellent and its small enough where you can put it anywhere when traveling. The range of the Bluetooth is around 50 yds. I bring it mostly to the beach or on hikes and sound quality is great outdoors. Bose has better sound but half the price I would highly recommend the boom.

Purchased while on sale. While the UE2 is slightly better at water resistance and high volume, not a difference maker for me. How often will you be testing water resistance or playing at max volume. At $99.99, it is a bargain!

The BlueTooth connection was an easy setup and I use it quite frequently in the car or my workshop so it's loud enough to get over the road noise or shop noise. It's handy to be able to have my son's phone pair with it and mine so we can both use it without having to re-pair every time he wants to borrow it. The mobile app is also handy for checking power levels, EQ adjustments, and powering it on/off. The only gripe I have is if the mic were a little better. Some people have said I sounded really distant and hard to hear. Since it's all about me, as long as I can hear them, I'm cool with it.

We have purchased a number of these and pair them to create a very full sound for larger spaces, or just use on in single rooms. Especially great for outdoors use in the summer. I like that I can take is anywhere and make it my table speaker if I want to hear a game at a sportsbar. I just tune into the signal with an app on my phone and push the audio to my speaker so the whole table can hear.

UE Boom works just as expected. Great for indoor use, gets really loud inside my apartment. Super easy to sync, even with multiple phones. Only thing is when I use it at the community center it has a hard time getting loud in a big room. It's advertised as being able to use outdoors but it has a hard enough time with big rooms where it can still echo a little. I can't imagine it being very loud outdoors.
