This game is probilly the best mma game that you will ever find, i took alot of time to master the game in every fight style so therefore i am very good at it, some people seem to have alot of trouble with the ground game and submitions which just do the titorials it takes like a half hour tops and it will show you all the basics but mre importanly PRACTICE!!! also when you are doing an exibition match read the buttons in the start menu and it will all come first hand. i first did the career with a kickboxer and bjj fighter and it was soso then did mhey thai and judo which is a great combo id recemend but my opinion best fight style combos for a fighter in this game is wrestling and kickboxing or boxing w/e you prefer, but overall you cant go wrong with this game every single person that i have played this game with whos never played it before absolutly loved it so go out and get it if you havnt yet... by the way please excuse my spelling thanks

I downloaded the demo last night and I don't know what that other guy is talking about. The controls are great once you learn how to use them. It was very responsive and the graphics were some of the best I have seen. I think this might be the best fighting game made. They had two fighters Shogun and Liddell and you need to play a little different with each one to play to their strengths. There were some minor glitches but nothing that can't be fixed on the game. There will be about 80 fighters so there is a wide variety. My roommate and I sat around for about 2 hours playing against each other and both thought this game was great. I will buy it the day it comes out.

As a huge UFC fan I've been awaiting the release of this game for months now and the excitement was well worth it. From the graphics in the intros, audio clips from actual past fights, attention to details for each fighter and more I was hooked. I've only played now for a little more than 3-4 hours but I am so addicted I can't stop thinking about my next opportunity to play more. Create-a-fighter mode allows users to build themselves or their dream fighter in each of the individual weight classes and progress them through fighting their way up to the belt. Plenty of options available to create a fighter the way you want him from physical appearance, to fighting style and then train him alongside of other UFC greats in their areas of expertise. In between fights there is the option to spar, train, rest or work with other pro fighters and it gives the game a very role-playing type of feel as you customize your fighter as you go along. The controls are not easy by any means - if you want to just slap a bunch of buttons you will not do very well. Refusal to block, learn takedown defense or avoid submissions will quickly make this game not very fun for you as you will get knocked down, knocked out and submitted by the better fighters. Fans of the UFC will be sure to love this game as it has plenty of the theme music, cut screens and set up that major pay-per-view and Fight Night events have. Right down the the referee realism, this game has it all (just like real life, Herb Dean will allow you to beat up on your opponent almost too much before calling the fight a TKO). Fans of the UFC... PICK THIS ONE UP!!! HD is a must have to really enjoy this game. I have not seen it without HD yet, but I can tell you the gameplay may be enough to overcome it. Excellent game! A must for fans!!!

This game is quite fun if you are a UFC fan. There is a deep roster of current players who look distinctively like their real-life counterparts. There's quite a bit of depth in terms of the stand-up and ground games, which does translate to complicated controls. However, this game is worth taking the time to learn the controls. There are a few modes: pick-up-and-play exhibition matches, online vs, classic fights, and the create-a-fighter and play his career. I would have liked to have seen some integration into current UFC events, like NBA Live 09 did this year. Examples would be highlighting upcoming matchups in exhibition and to modifying statistics based on real-life fights. Really, the only other complaints I have against this game are: menu music is loud, terrible rap/emo/metal, menus are sluggish to load, and people tend to disconnect on Xbox Live if you beat them, so that they don't get a loss. On the whole, UFC Undisputed 09 is a very solid fighting game. Here's to hoping that UFC 2010 has more features and more polish to make it a truly great fighting game.

Overall, I think this is a great game, however, I do have a few problems with it. The first is the control layout for the game. There are literally thousands of different button combinations to perform different manuevers. I constantly have to pull up the actions list to figure out the button combos to perform. The other problem I have is that it seems as though I fight the same people in career mode constantly. It gets a little boring fighting the same people. The game does also have its good points. The graphics are totally awesome! The game play is completely addictive. I totally get into the fights, yetting at the tv constantly. I think this is a great game and would recommend purchasing it!

when i hears about this i fliped. when i played the demo i nearly lost my mind. the graphics are great. the controls are easy to master. the difficulty is ajustable. i played the demo about a hundred times and it still is mind blowing. its a fun game that can be played many times. there are six fighting syles, brazilian ju-jujitsu, wrestling, and judo for the ground game. and boxing, kickboxing,and muay thia for the standing game. i recomend this game to everyone who has time for fun and pure action.

This game is looking like a very sweet game. I just downloaded the demo on xbox 360 and I love it. I'm jonsin to play it as I'm typing. The knockouts are awesome, being able to ground and pound is amazing. the submissions are a little tough to do but I havent played it enough and I'm getting better at attemting them. Being able to do all sorts of submissions and getting into different positions is fantastic. So much better than the one that came out on the xbox where no one could beat big john.

First off the graphics are at least 9/10 with HD. The difficulty isn't too hard it just needs time to get used to and which is great so it gives gamers and beginners an equal opportunity to victor with out the option to BUTTON MASH! Fun...this game completes every category a game should be judge on except the price lets see some new games start back at $49.99. Well I hope my review was helpful.

This game met my expectations and beyond. With all the best fighters the UFC has to offer. You can play this game for hours at a time and not get bored. The Career mode is detailed and gives you a great insight of what it takes to become a Mixed Martial Artist. The Graphics are great and it makes you feel like you are in the octagon. If you like watching the UFC you have to play the game.

Great graphics w/HD. Eliminates the button mashing from older style wrestling/fighting games. It's almost like the real thing, you have to keep your guard up, think about your every move, and concentrate on what you want to do. I have noticed that you can get knocked out pretty easily however. Must have if your an MMA fan!

Best fight game and fun to play. Build your own character in any weight level. Controls sometimes hard to navigate. Live is fun but gets really hard cuz some pople use cheats. Best game and Real Fight. Very Good graphic. Each character has it own figth Style.

If you are an MMA fan at all this game is perfect. Graphics are good and the fighting styles are accurate. Career mode is fun and challenging. Classic fights mode creates even more of a challenge for the advanced players. Overall awesome game.

this game is probably one of my favorites that just came out recently. they have create a fighter and a bunch of real pros such as chuck lidell, Rua, etc... if you just play the demo it may get you to buy the game. it shows how the fighting is in the game and how amazing the graphics are. before the game came out i was playing the demo and my brother walked into the room and started watching, when the round was over he asked "it didnt go to commercial?" haha he thought it was t.v. the graphics are really amazing and with the blue ray on a ps3 it just gets better

the controls were very easy to learn and the create a fighter was great but not enough hair choices, tattoos, and shorts styles and colors. the sound track is great but i had to turn the music off after a few minutes. since i don't have a HD tv all i know is that the graphis are great too. i've played it for days at a time and have found it hard to put down since once i start playing i can't quite. i have found it best to train two weeks and then spar. over all this game is worth the time and money

I played the demo and it was really easy, and the graphics weren't all that great. Once I plugged into my hd tv it wasn't too bad just once again it was easy. I won everytime, but didn't get bored because I tried tons of combos, I'm sure you can change difficulty, characters, and more with full version so I wont have any complaints. Plus, there will be online play and more. I'm looking forward to this game and will buy.

overall the demo will give you a good idea of what to expect. my time with the demo was extremely enjoyable. playing with chuck liddell really felt just right. i would say its pretty close to the real thing for a video game. im sure they could have done a little better but this is just the first offering. the previous reviewer is obviously not much of a fan.. true ufc fans will love this..i know i did. its about time!

It is a fun game with good graphics, and a great career mode

I'm a fan of the UFC, so when we got this game for my stepson, I was looking forward to having a chance to play it myself. I created a character and went through the tutorial and then went into career mode. Well, after my second fight in career mode (I won both by knockout), I was pretty much tired of career mode and the endless screens of putting advertisements on my shorts, training, resting, sparring, resting, training, resting, etc. And what's with kicking a guy so many times in the ribs that his side turns bright red, but he still doesn't defend the kick. Come on now. It looked like he had broken ribs. Oh well, I'm glad the other posters love the game. Just too boring for me.

A must for any MMA fan, controls are hard at first but it does not take long to master them. I love the different moves that you can do in all different positions. Bottom line just great.
