Customers find value in the intense and customizable workouts offered by the UFC Personal Trainer. However, some users experience issues with the Kinect sensor's ability to consistently track their movements during exercises. The Kinect's unreliability is a recurring concern, occasionally interrupting or hindering workout progress. Improvements to the Kinect's accuracy would significantly enhance the overall user experience.

I really enjoy using this game. It's a nice change from fitness evolved. I def would recommend having weights (dumbbells) handy because the weight training exercises are great. After the latest update the warm ups and cool downs are not a pain to skip. The one thing I dislike is that rarely the game cannot see me or recognize what I am doing even though it has followed me fine earlier on. Overall I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to start working out with their kinect or is tired of the same routines from previous games.

Absolutely love the workouts! I can use it with my profile and follow their workouts(which if you choose a 30 day challenge, will vary !)geared to my workout level; my son can use his profile and increase workout levels and choose which workouts he likes to do, and best of all is the compete against each other section where we can see who can do the most..etc! fun and healthy!

this game can provide a great workout but it is so frustrating that i don't want to use it. some exercises just aren't detected by the kinect sensor properly. even after re-calibrating the sensor push-ups are almost impossible for it to track. nothing is more frustrating than busting your butt to complete 60 out of 40 reps and only have 23 of them counted telling you do better next time. and the instructors are monotonous repeating the same "encouragements" over and over. wish you could turn them off. i start a work out energized and great mood and finish in a state of road rage swearing at the game and kinect. plus for no good reason detection of your body will be lost even though you were green and completely in the octagon. stupid implementation of a great concept.

My wife and I got the Kinect so she could play her dancing games and I could play a UFC game. The problem is the games motion recognition, not necessarily the game. At one point in the weight loss program the trainer says lets do some jumping jacks, I did 30 by the time it registered 13. I even tried slowing down. I made sure to that I was at the proper distance away from the TV also. My wifes dance games however register movement very well. All in all the workouts are tough since you do nearly twice the number in most workouts haha.

Too many bugs and very poor customer support

Two patches in and THQ still has not addressed all the major bugs. Avatar awards and achievements are not always saving, their servers go offline often and the game itself is not yet stable enough to call it a finished product. They fixed the issue of the calendar not saving but ignored the bug where having multiple people use this game under their owns accounts could mean that their calendars could become mixed up. Calling customer service gets you nothing but a "just delete and start all over."

Terrible Game

After using this game ... I ran into about 15 different bugs that prevented usage of the game as it was designed. Knowing this was a fairly new game, I contacted THQ about the problems I was having. That was 3 months ago, THQ has done NOTHING to fix any of the issues I was having.
The tracking is terrible, the game randomly pasues itself, it has too many confirmations that require you to change positions to confirm then you have to go back to that position ... there are just a lot of problems with this game. It was released too early and THQ doesn't care to do anything about it.
I highly recommend a different approach to working out as UFC Personal Trainer (while it should be good) really sucks.

Graphics were good, but it always locks up on the last activity preventing you from recording and monitoring your progress. I would not recommend buying it. There are other Kinect exercises that are far superior
