Great speaker for the price.

The speaker was a lot better than I had anticipated, I have had more experience speakers such as JBL and Boss,but the quality of this speaker was great. It has the ability to be turned on and off from the app which is great. And the presets in the app add to the ambiance.

Great sound, good upgrade from the Boom 3. The range for the Party Up feature with my other speaker is a little disappointing, started losing connectivity at about 20-25 ft.

Great speaker for music and voice

I have been looking for a speaker for my MacBook but was unable to decide. I asked one of my sons for advice and he suggested the Ultimate Ears - Boom. It plays my music with a full sound and lets me listen to sports programs with clarity. I'm very pleased with this speaker and would recommend it.

We already own 2 of these. Each person in our family owns one. They are easy to connect and have enough sound to have a party. We like the size as it is about the size of a water bottle, therefore it fits anywhere a water bottle fits.

Party Mode is Disappointing

The speaker is fine on its own but I purchased these mainly for the "party mode" ability to play out of multiple speakers at once. The system is really disappointing. Audio will cut out of one speaker or the other every few seconds and after a while the non-dominant speaker will lose connection and need to be reconnected. If you're looking for one speaker these are great but if, like me, you're drawn to UE/Boom for the ability to listen through several speakers at once, you'll be disappointed.
