The one he had was loud and had a full sound. I liked how you could control it from the app. It worked great, but the one I bought didn't perform to what I hoped it would. It just wasn't as loud as thought it should be. Otherwise it had great functionality and accessories. I eventually returned it and went with another brand of the same type of speaker.

The amazon tap was way underpowered. The megaboom and bose soundlink III are about as good as it gets for portables but still not good enough for me to keep either. I'll wait until a portable with enough power to provide quality sound at moderate volume is available, but the market is not there yet.
